Most likely, they say that the vegetable has already begun to deteriorate.

1. Before cooking, rinse the head of cabbage under running water, remove the leaves and cut it into inflorescences.

2. Boil water in a saucepan, add salt to taste, transfer the prepared inflorescences there.

3. Wait for the boil, boil for five minutes, drain the water and transfer the vegetable to a plate. Keep in mind that cabbage cooks quickly, so don't exceed the cooking time or it will become too soft and tasteless. Grease the baking tray vegetable oil. Throw in the cauliflower.

7. Bake in the oven until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes. Take out and cool.

8. You can eat both cold and hot.

Cauliflower in the oven with bechamel sauce - video

  • To prepare tasty dish you need to choose the right vegetables. The color of the head should be white with a slightly noticeable green, and the inflorescences should be pale green and elastic.
  • Cauliflower is perfectly preserved frozen, and after defrosting it does not lose its taste and useful qualities. BUT, to prepare any dish from thawed cabbage, it must be boiled.
  • To do this, cabbage forks are first washed and then disassembled into small inflorescences. Boil salted water in a saucepan convenient for cooking, and then put cabbage in it. It should be cooked for no more than 10 minutes, otherwise the inflorescences will turn into a rag and lose their taste.
  • Experts believe that if you cook in mineral water or add a little to the water citric acid, then the taste will turn out more tender, and if you add another half a teaspoon of sugar, then the cabbage will retain its amazing delicate color. And you don't need to cover the pan with a lid when cooking.
  • When preparing a batter for cabbage, then the cheese should be grated on the smallest grater, and if you want to make the batter thicker, then add a little flour. By the way, if you add cornmeal, then the dish will turn out even tastier and healthier.
