During the autopsy, doctors found 225-240 milligrams of heroin in Cobain's blood - a lethal dose from which people usually die before they finish it. One of the articles, citing the results of clinical studies, was called: "The dead do not pull the trigger." Well, in the suicide letter of the musician there is not a single direct statement that he wants to die. "I need to be a little dumb to regain the enthusiasm that I had as a child"; “I no longer have passion, but I remember: it is better to burn out than to dissolve” - these lines can be interpreted in different ways. And the last phrase “Keep going” (here, too, there is no unambiguous translation: either “live” or “keep doing what you are doing”), addressed by Kurt to his wife Courtney Love, generally raises doubts among graphologists about authenticity: in it they found more twenty inconsistencies with the handwriting of the musician.

At four o'clock in the afternoon, an official announcement was made of death - due to heart failure - but an autopsy then showed that the cause of cardiac arrest was precisely an excessive dose of various medications (otherwise, drugs; however, due to the semi-secret nature of the investigation, there are also many other versions of death along with the popular legend that the singer is still alive.

A large number of viewers know and love the actors of the famous series "Capercaillie", which was released in 2008. However, a few years after the painting appeared, many began to consider it cursed. This is due to the fact that under tragic circumstances, three actors who starred in this film died one after another. The purely deceased actors of the series "Capercaillie" included Vyacheslav Titov, Anatoly Otradnov and Sergey Sharoshkin. In this article, you can find out the biography of these movie stars and the cause of their death.

The first deceased actor of the series "Capercaillie"

Vyacheslav Titov was the first of the film's actors to die under unclear circumstances. Vyacheslav was born and raised in the city of Tula. While in high school, he began taking acting classes in the theatre. The talented 12-year-old Vyacheslav was immediately noticed and the boy was invited to the troupe of the Tula theater.

His debut in the world of cinema took place in 1994 in the film "Flowers of the Province", where the actor became the male lead. In the series "Capercaillie" Titov played the role of Oleg Shilkin, a drug dealer. In December 2011 he was killed. The famous actor of the series "Capercaillie" died of strangulation, a plastic bag was put on his head. Only at the end of 2013, the killer of Vyacheslav Titov was caught. It turned out to be a 23-year-old guy who fully admitted his guilt. The court sentenced him to 9 years in prison. Then, in 2011, no one connected Titov's death with the series, until a month later there was another one of the actors of the Capercaillie series. The deceased was Anatoly Otradnov.

Russian actor Anatoly Otradnov was born in 1982 in the city of Revda. Anatoly's parents were not connected with the world of cinema, his father worked as a military man, and his mother worked as a salesman. In 2004, the actor first appeared on television, playing a cameo role in the film "Moth Games". Thanks to his passion for kickboxing, Otradnov took part in films with large quantity fights.

In the series "Capercaillie" Anatoly Otradnov played one of the secondary roles. At the end of January 2012, the actor was found unconscious near the road, but he died on the way to the hospital. It was found that death was due to alcohol poisoning, as well as from a potent medication. A criminal case was initiated in the case of Otradnov. The deceased actor of the series "Capercaillie" has a pregnant wife. Despite the death of two participants in the film, everyone said that this was a mere coincidence, but a couple of months later another actor of the Capercaillie died.

Sergei Sharoshkin is a Russian theater and film actor. Sergei was born in December 1970 in the city of Tashkent. During his life, he managed to act in only two films. The actor of the series "Capercaillie" died in mid-March 2012. At that moment he was at his parents' house. It was blown up because of which Sergei died. Experts argue that such an explosion cannot kill a person, but only cause such harm as temporary loss of vision or hearing. The investigation has not yet opened the case of Sergei Sharoshkin. Since his death, no one has considered these events a mere coincidence.

Another actor of the Capercaillie, who almost said goodbye to his life, is Andrey Vorozheikin. He was attacked, but the doctors were able to deliver him to intensive care in time. It is not known how this tragic series of deaths would have ended if the main actor of the series had not left the project.

According to unconfirmed information, the famous Russian actor Anatoly Pashinin, who fought in the Donbass as part of the punitive troops, died during the shelling. This was told by the writer, militia fighter of the DPR Zakhar Prilepin.

The cultural figure announced the death of Pashinin on his Twitter. “They write that the actor Pashinin was killed as a result of shelling. Whoever starts gloating, I will ban. Don’t be like cattle,” Prilepin said, referring to his subscribers.

ON THIS TOPIC

The writer added that he had no idea where and in what battle the actor could have been killed. According to Prilepin, on the day of Pashinin's death, the militia did not fight at all, since "the authorities do not order." "I don't even know where his subsection is," he wrote.

At the same time, the DPR fighter expressed the hope that the death of the actor was just rumors. “Let him live. Only let him live at home. If he died, there is no joy,” Prilepin concluded.

The message about the death of the actor was commented on by its director Yulia Pavlova. According to her, she does not know if Pashinin really died, REN TV reports.

Recall that Anatoly Pashinin became popular in Russia thanks to the films Storm Gates, Admiral and We are from the Future. At the end of August this year, it became known that the 38-year-old actor had volunteered for the Ukrainian army and was fighting in the Donbass.

Upon learning of this, Pashinin’s colleague in the acting department, Mikhail Porechenkov, warned him: “Maybe we will meet again, it’s just, as I said, there will be different sides of the barricades. But we have a good memory and a lot of health. Learn something in their ranks - let's learn!" In turn, the writer Zakhar Prilepin strongly advised Pashinin to avoid meeting with him, especially in battle. “I am not familiar with Pashinin, but this is his personal choice. I would sincerely recommend that he not meet with my unit in battle,” he said.

In everyday life, tragedies happen much more terrible than in even the most violent fantasy of screenwriters. It happened that the protagonists of these dramas were those who had been a victim on the screen more than once - famous actors.

About the actors killed not on the screen, and tells today "RG".

Talgat Nigmatulin

Talgat Nigmatulin, a handsome man with an exotic oriental appearance (the actor was born in 1949 in the Kyrgyz town of Kyzyl-Kie), was remembered by Soviet viewers from the film "Pirates of the 20th Century", where he played not at all a positive, but a bright character.

Talgat had a difficult childhood: due to the fact that his family had many children and his parents could not feed all the kids, Talgat was assigned to Orphanage. The boy was in poor health, moreover, in early childhood he had rickets. Once in a pioneer camp, a pretty girl refused to dance with a bow-legged peer. The offended Talgat fled to the steppe, cried for a long time, and then promised himself to make his body beautiful. Since then, he began playing sports, and later - martial arts.

But then the young man switched not only to sports. He wrote poetry, went to a drama club, was engaged in ballroom dancing, and dreamed of becoming a film director.

He did not immediately enter VGIK. After the first failure, Talgat did not want to leave Moscow and entered the School of Circus and Variety Art. While studying there, he became seriously interested in wrestling. He became the champion of Uzbekistan, took sixth place in the USSR championship. In 1967, he was noticed at Mosfilm, offering the role of a White Guard officer in the film The Ballad of the Commissar. The negative character was a success for Talgat, and subsequently the role of an actor playing villains was assigned to him. A year later, Talgat nevertheless entered VGIK, in the acting workshop of Sergei Gerasimov and Tamara Makarova. Nikolai Eremenko, Natalya Belokhvostikova, Natalya Bondarchuk, Natalya Gvozdikova studied with him.

After graduating from VGIK, Nigmatulin left for Tashkent and began working at the Uzbekfilm studio. Then his roles appeared in the films "The Seventh Bullet", "Meetings and Partings", "The Legend of Siyavush". Here he began to write and publish a lot. He tried to arrange his personal life by marrying the singer Larisa Kandalova. Soon their daughter Ursula was born in their family. But the marriage did not last long: Talgat was an ardent young man, often fell in love, and his wife could not bear betrayal.

All-Union popularity came to Nigmatulin after the release in 1979 of the film directed by Boris Durov "Pirates of the 20th century", where he played the main pirate who, together with a group of sea robbers, attacked the Soviet cargo ship "Nezhin", which was carrying a cargo of opium for the pharmacological industry. The film became the highest-grossing film in the history of Russian film distribution: in total, over 120 million people watched it in cinemas.

Talgat and his friend, actor Nikolai Eremenko, refused to use understudies and stuntmen and fought "live". Talgat perfectly demonstrated what he had learned over many years of martial arts.

The story that led to the tragic death of the actor began shortly after the resounding triumph of "Pirates". In the early 80s of the twentieth century, countless healers, healers, psychics and other charlatans appeared in the USSR. A sect led by the obvious swindler Abai Borubaev and Murza Kymbatbaev gained great popularity among some of the intelligentsia. From all over the Union, pilgrims came to them in a distant Kyrgyz village. Talgat Nigmatulin was carried away by the sermons of charlatans. Before, according to the testimony of his relatives, he was fond of everything unknown in an attempt to find his true purpose in life.

At the beginning of 1985, a split occurred in the "school" of Mirza and Abai. Several disciples from Vilnius decided to found their own sect. But Abai did not want to allow this. He remembered that among his admirers there is an actor who knows martial arts. And he asked Nigmatulin to come to Vilnius and deal with the recalcitrant. Talgat hesitated for a long time whether he should go. According to the recollections of Talgat's friend Ozoda Akhunova, the actor in life was a very kind and disinterested person. He did not value money at all, distributing it to everyone who asked him for a loan. And he couldn't raise his hand to anyone.

On February 11, 1985, the Vilnius ambulance station received a message that a man had died on Lenin Street. Arriving doctors found on the body of the deceased. 119 wounds, 22 of them in the head area. The owner of the apartment said that her guest was attacked by hooligans on the street. She was not believed. The police quickly found and arrested all the participants in the crime, because even at night the neighbors called the squad, complaining about the noise of the fight. But then the people who were in the apartment were able to convince the law enforcement officers that the drinking buddies had a fight. Talgat, already beaten unconscious, was hidden in the bathroom.

The night before, in the house of one of the "disobedient" Abai started a fight, in which only Talgat did not take part and even tried to separate the fighters. Then he left, and Abay and the others went to look for him. When they met again in the house on Lenin Street, the "guru" commanded the disciples from the threshold: "Beat the traitor!" The beating lasted eight hours. Why didn't the actor-athlete try to resist, didn't call for help? There is still no answer to this question. But, most likely, the attack happened suddenly and one person, even well-trained, is unlikely to be able to defeat five strong men. It's not a movie with special effects and editing.

The court sentenced Abai Borubaev to 14 years, Mirza Kymbatbaev to 10 years, and other participants in the crime to different terms of imprisonment. Abai Borubaev was later killed under unclear circumstances while serving a prison sentence. One of his accomplices went mad during the investigation.

Nigmatulin's son from his second marriage with Khalida Khasanova teaches stage movement, horseback riding and fencing at VGIK. Daughter Linda from the last marriage of the actor with Venera Ibragimova is now acting in films, singing. And Venus remained to live in Kazakhstan.

Sharon Tate

In August 1969, Hollywood froze in horror. Pictures appeared in the press of the monstrous murder of the then-famous actress Sharon Tate, the wife of film director Roman Polanski, and her friends. Sharon was only 26 years old. And she was in her ninth month of pregnancy.

The organizer of the murder and his accomplices were arrested about six months later. At the time it was also quite famous person- Charles Manson, who appropriated the name "Jesus-Satan" and claimed to be the founder of a new religion and philosophy.

Sharon Tate was a beautiful, up-and-coming actress. Prior to her acquaintance with Roman Polanski, she starred mainly in comedies. Polanski later offered her several roles in his horror films. And a year after their wedding, the horrors from the screen stepped over into the life of the actress.

The bloody drama played out late in the evening of August 8, 1969. At the Cielo Drive mansion in the Bel Air section of Los Angeles, owned by Polanski and his wife, a friendly party was coming to an end. Sharon Tate was finishing a conversation with her friend Jay Sebring, a former famous hairdresser for Hollywood stars, and was about to go to bed. Viktor Frykovsky, a friend of the owner of the house, Roman Polanski, was already dozing on the couch next to him. Abigail Folger, the coffee king's daughter, was leafing through a book in the next room. In the garden pavilion, eighteen-year-old Steve Perent was saying goodbye to the landlord as he made his way to his house.

Even seasoned policemen, who saw the consequences of the night tragedy the next morning, were horrified. Perent was killed by four bullets in his car, apparently at the very moment he was preparing to leave. Frykovsky had a bullet in his back, thirteen fractures in his skull, and fifty-one stab wounds. Experts counted twenty-one stab wounds on Folger's body. Sharon Tate, stabbed beyond recognition, lay on the floor of her room. Around her neck was a nylon rope slung over a ceiling beam. The other end of the rope tightened the neck of the equally brutally maimed Jay Sebring.

For three months, the police unsuccessfully searched for the perpetrators. Perhaps they would have managed to escape punishment, if not for the case. A certain secretary by the name of Graham, imprisoned in the Los Angeles prison for theft, demanded a meeting with the head of this prison, and said that she had important things to tell. It turned out that the day before, Suzanne Atkins, who was arrested on suspicion of complicity in the murder of Hollywood musician Hinman, was placed in the cell where Graham was sitting. According to the stealing secretary, her new neighbor was behaving strangely, still apparently under the influence of drugs. Perhaps it was the narcotic effect that allowed Atkins to relax so much that when the secretary suddenly remembered the murder of Sharon Tate, Atkins said: "Why, it was we who punished these pigs - me and my friends ..."

Then followed a spate of stories about a "family" in which she and her girlfriends and friends live under the rule of one Charles Miller Manson. According to Atkins, this man possessed supernatural power, because "he is at the same time both Jesus, who returned to earth, and Satan." The "family" lived on the abandoned "Span" ranch, which was once built as a set for shooting cowboy films.

The head of the prison, after listening to the story of the secretary, turned to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and soon Manson and his accomplices were arrested.

Subsequently, much has become known about him and his life. Charles Manson was the unwanted child of 16-year-old Kathleen Maddox. Some time after his birth, Charlie's mother married a certain William Manson, who gave his surname to the illegitimate boy.

In 1939, the mother was arrested for armed robbery at a gas station and sentenced to five years in a West Virginia state prison. When she got out of prison, Charlie was 8 years old. After that, the mother began to change lovers, and completely forgot about her son. In 1947, Charlie was sent to an orphanage for boys in Ter-Aut, Indiana. After some time, he ran away from there, but his mother did not accept him. He began to steal and rob. At the age of 16, Manson falls under federal jurisdiction for stealing a car and is sent to a federal reformatory school for boys in Washington. From there, his aunt wanted to take him, but Charles once put a razor to the throat of one of the teenagers who were in the same reform school and raped him. For this, Manson was transferred to the federal corrective labor school in St. Petersburg (Virginia) and enrolled in the category of dangerous. Soon the following entry appeared in his file: "Despite his age, he is already capable of all sorts of sophisticated crimes."

Manson was so accustomed to prison life that when he was released in March 1967, he did not want to leave. But still I had to. And his new - wandering life began. In San Francisco, Manson met hippies and soon became their leader. Hospitable hippies, having learned that he had spent many years in prison, took pity on him, fed him, dressed him, treated him with drugs, taught him to play the guitar and sing. One day, Charles announced that it was no coincidence that his name was Manson - this name means "Son of Man", like Jesus. But he is both Christ and Satan. Therefore, everyone must obey him. Oddly enough, this delusional theory found its followers, and soon a whole "family" formed next to Manson, which began to roam the US West Coast.

Manson continues to learn to play and sing, he even has fans, and he decides to go to Hollywood to try his luck. There, he quickly makes many new acquaintances, mainly because he supplied them with drugs. The first Hollywood victim of Manson was the musician Hinman, from whom Manson asked for money, but he did not give them. Manson and his so-called students tortured the musician for three days, and then stabbed him to death, and wrote on the wall of the house: "Pig". A few days after Hinman's murder, police arrested Robert Beausoleil, Manson's closest associate, trapping him in the deceased's car.

Upon learning of Beausoleil's arrest, Manson began to cover his tracks. He decided that the best proof of Beausoleil's innocence would be to continue the series of brutal murders in the same manner. Villa Sharon Tate was chosen by the killers at random. At least, that's how it appeared in the materials of the investigation.

The trial of Manson and his associates began in June 1970 and lasted nine and a half months. Charles Manson, Susannah Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel and Leslie Van Guten were sentenced to death. A few months later, another killer of the actress and her friends, Charles Watson, was brought from Texas, where he had fled, and convicted. But in February 1972, the California Supreme Court abolished the death penalty as capital punishment. The death penalty for murderers was commuted to life imprisonment.

Sharon Tate was buried in a closed coffin at Holy Cross Cemetery in California with her baby in her arms. The child was posthumously named Paul Richard Polanski.

Yuri Kamorny

The actor with noble and courageous features, who played mostly positive characters, quickly became the favorite of Soviet women.

He began to actively appear on the big screens in the mid-60s of the last century. The first success of the ball was the role in the Soviet-Polish film "Zosya". The film was a big success at the box office. Then there were the films "Liberation" (1968-1971), "Quarantine" (1969), "Kremlin Chimes" (1970), "Everyday Criminal Investigation", "Being Human" (both - 1973), "Arrows of Robin Hood" (1976 ). His first marriage did not work out. And in 1972, he met a law student at Leningrad State University and they began a long romance. Choosing between cinema and theater, Kamorny nevertheless made a choice in favor of the first. And he began to shoot even more. By that time, he already had a dacha in Pine, his own boat, a rich collection of edged weapons, which he began to collect during his student days. And he was quite good at all these weapons.

Kamorny got a job at the Theater-Studio of a film actor at Lenfilm and soon received a new living space: he was given a 12-meter room in a communal apartment in a house on Saltykov-Shchedrin Street. Nearby was the Priboy beer bar, famous in those years, and Yuri became its regular. But, despite his periodic sprees, Kamorny continued to act very actively, and almost every year films with his participation were released on the screens of the country: "Birds of Our Hopes" (1977), "Poseidon" to the rescue "(1978)," Blue Lightning " , TV movie "The Ring of the Outgoing Summer" (both - 1979).

In the early 80s, he starred in two main roles at once: in the feature film "The Truth of Lieutenant Klimov" and the TV movie "Game Without Trumps". While working in the last picture (filming took place in Lithuania), Kamorny met a young make-up artist of a local film studio and brought her to his place in Leningrad. On the last day of his life, it was this girl who was with him in an apartment in a house on Saltykov-Shchedrin Street.

The exact picture of the tragedy that unfolded has not yet been established. And they are unlikely to be installed, given the statute of limitations. Two versions are known last day life of Yuri Kamorny. One was described in his book "Star Tragedies: Riddles, Fate and Death" by Fedor Razzakov, the other by Mikhail Veller in the book "Legends of Nevsky Prospekt".

Here is how Fedor Razzakov describes it. “At noon on November 27, 1981, Kamorny’s neighbors in a communal apartment suddenly heard heart-rending female screams coming from his room. When they opened the door and looked inside, they saw a terrible picture: a girl, clasping her head in her hands, was sitting in a corner, and their neighbor stood on the couch and held a dagger in both hands. His face was disfigured by a terrible grimace, his lips whispered some wild words: "... they will kill you ... you must not come out ... I'd rather kill you myself .. ."

Deciding that the actor fell into a delirium tremens, the neighbors immediately called a narcologist by phone. He, in turn, took with him several policemen from the Dzerzhinsky District Department of Internal Affairs. When they arrived at the scene, Kamorny continued to rage and, waving daggers, did not let anyone near him. Today it is no longer possible to determine exactly what real danger he then represented, and whether it was possible to neutralize him without the use of firearms, but the police decided not to risk it and used the weapon. Moreover, at first, as expected, they fired two warning shots upwards. One of the bullets ricocheted and hit the girl in the arm. She screamed heart-rendingly, and this probably pissed off the policemen. The third shot they fired at the actor. They aimed at the legs, and hit the femoral artery. Blood gushed from the wound. Literally a few seconds later, Kamorny died.

As the examination later established, there was not a single gram of alcohol in the blood of the deceased. They did not find any changes in his brain. Then what happened to the actor that day? This can only be guessed at now.

Mikhail Veller, in his book Legends of Nevsky Prospekt, writes that the actor was very drunk, and the neighbors invited a policeman who was passing by, who, seeing Kamorny holding a knife to the woman's throat, fired a shot that wounded her in the thigh. The second shot hit the actor in the forehead. After that, after some thought, the policeman fired a third shot at the ceiling.

The death of Kamorny went almost unnoticed. The authorities banned the publication of obituaries, given the strange circumstances of the death of the artist. Only a few people came to the morgue of the Botkin hospital, where the artist's body lay, to say goodbye to him. Among them was the actor's mother, who then took her son's body home - to Staraya Russa. There he was buried.

Brandon Lee

Son of famous actor and martial artist Bruce Lee (1940-1973)

Brandon Bruce Lee tragically died on March 31, 1993 while filming The Crow in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Recall that Bruce Lee died suddenly in Hong Kong on July 20, 1973, while working on the film The Game of Death. According to the official version, he took a headache pill containing aspirin and meprobamate, which led to cerebral edema. However, after his death, rumors began to spread that Bruce was killed by another master, but they were not confirmed. Brandon Lee's death under similar circumstances exactly 20 years later sparked even more speculation. For example, even newspapers wrote that the death of a young actor was the revenge of the Triad, the Chinese mafia, which, according to many, was also involved in the death of his father.

Bruce Lee managed to teach his son much of what he himself owned. At the age of five, the boy was already walking on his hands and, in a jump, he reached his father's chin with his foot. While still at school, he performed on the stages of small theaters. Then there was the acting academy and small roles for films. But the young man, as usual, dreamed of playing one of the most difficult psychological roles - to reveal the restless soul of Hamlet. At the beginning of his short career, Brandon Lee was firmly convinced that he would become a dramatic actor. However, the only possible genre for him was a genre firmly associated with the name of his father - the action genre. Brandon made his debut in 1986 in the TV movie Kung Fu: The Movie. That same year, he starred in his first big-screen feature, Legacy of Rage. Then there were the films "Open the Cards in Little Tokyo" (1991), "Rapid Fire" (1992), which brought Brandon Lee real fame.

Fatal for Brandon shot thundered in the spring of 1993 on the set of the film "The Crow". Then they wrote that something was wrong there: one of the actors received severe burns, another seriously injured his hand, the journalist who wrote about the film got into a car accident, and the designer went crazy.

Filming was tough. Brandon, of course, starred without understudies. On his fateful day, he talked a lot about the upcoming wedding with film editor Eliza Hutton, whom he met back in 1990, and called her one of the most charming girls in Hollywood. Their wedding was to take place in Mexico City on April 17, 1993, just after filming of The Crow ended.

The last scene that was filmed that day was the scene where Brandon's hero dies at the hands of the villain Fanbow. The cameras were focused on Brandon. Actor Michael Massey, who played Fanbow, was supposed to shoot him with a revolver from five meters. Lee held a small explosive device, which he had to set off to simulate the sound of a gunshot. The scene was not particularly technically complex compared to many previous ones, where up to fifty shots per take were fired.

The team sounded: "Motor, start!" Massey fired, the explosive device went off, Lee fell, the scene was filmed. Brandon collapsed to the ground, covered in blood, and meanwhile the shooting went on as usual. They stopped them only after someone from the film crew realized that something was wrong. Brandon was taken to the hospital. For twelve and a half hours, the actor struggled with death. But he didn't win. The surgeon who performed the operation later said: "There was too much blood loss. The blood did not clot. It oozed from everywhere." According to doctors, if the actor could have been saved, then, most likely, he would have remained paralyzed for life.

The tragic death of the star was not left without investigation. It was carried out with the utmost care. According to one version, when preparing the revolver for filming, all precautions were not taken, and among the blank cartridges there was a real one. According to another, the plug stuck in the barrel was not noticed by the members of the film crew and flew out when fired with a blank cartridge. As a result, the foreign body pierced Brandon Lee's abdomen and lodged in the spine, causing extensive blood loss.

And although the judge's verdict categorically stated: pure coincidence, few people believed in it. How could a live cartridge even end up on the set? And what was that plug? Why did a fellow actor shoot Brandon point-blank when he should have aimed to the side. When installing, they would still do it the way it should.

These questions remain unanswered. None of the film crew was held accountable. Filming of "The Crow" was continued. But the scenes of the death of the actor were destroyed.

Brandon Lee was buried next to his father in Seattle on the shores of Lake Washington.

Fedor Smirnov

Having starred in more than 70 films and TV shows, actor Fyodor Smirnov died tragically at the age of 52.

Smirnov was born on February 24, 1957 in Moscow. It has been filmed in films since 1985. But in the films "There Lived a Brave Captain", "Complicity in Murder", he also performed episodes. However, gradually, attention began to be paid to a tall actor with a characteristic textured face. And offers to shoot fell down one after another. In 1990, Fedor Smirnov played in 11 films, and in 1991 already in 13. He most often got the roles of law enforcement officers, security guards, criminals, and intelligence officers. But the actor knew how to portray each of his characters vividly and figuratively.

Smirnov starred in such popular series as Detective Dubrovsky's Dossier, Citizen Chief - 3, Zone, the historical drama Bayazet, dedicated to the heroic episode of the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878. The last work of the actor was the role of Uncle Kolya - a relative of the main characters in the 8-episode film "District". This film was released in 2009, when Fyodor Smirnov was no longer alive.

He died on December 13, 2008, defending his house in the village of Konakovo, Tver Region, from bandits. Apparently, the criminals were counting on rich booty. But the actor lived very modestly. And he offered the most desperate resistance to the criminals. The forces turned out to be unequal: the bandits broke the head of the actor. He died on the spot. His wife, who was also at home and attacked, miraculously survived.

Fedor Smirnov is buried at the Vostryakovsky cemetery.

Soviet actors whose lives were cut short due to ridiculous accidents

It's no secret that during the filming of dangerous episodes, actors are most often replaced by stuntmen, and it is their lives that are often at risk. They manage to avoid injuries only thanks to their own professionalism and special training. However, in the history of cinema there have been such tragic cases when the actors themselves took on the performance of complex stunts and paid for it with their lives. This happened to three Soviet actors whose lives ended prematurely and absurdly...

Inna Burduchenko's film career ended as soon as it began. The very first role in the film "Ivanna" (1959) brought her success, and the audience began to call the actress Ivushka by the name of her heroine. She played the daughter of a priest who renounced God, which later became the reason for persistent rumors that this film was anathematized by the Pope. These rumors were born after the Soviet football players visited Rome for the Olympic Games and heard about the anathema there. Decades later, the press again started talking about the curse that allegedly hung over the picture - the death of the 21-year-old actress seemed too ridiculous.

Her life was cut short just a year after a successful film debut. On the set of the film “Nobody Loved Like This,” the heroine Burduchenko had to carry the banner out of the house, engulfed in flames. The actress worked without an understudy. They shot several takes, and during the last one a tragedy occurred: Inna's heel got stuck in wooden boards, and at that moment a burning beam collapsed on her. Miner Sergei Ivanov, who starred in the extras, rushed into the house and carried the actress out. Unfortunately, it was too late - she received 78% burns, and it was not possible to save her. The director of the film was sentenced to 4 years in prison and suspended from filming.

The film career of Yevgeny Urbansky was short, but very bright. After the first role, he won popularity and love of the audience. His film debut was the film "Communist" (1957), for participation in which he received the main prizes at festivals in Kyiv and Venice. Two years later, he starred in the title role in the film The Unsent Letter. After 36 years, Francis Ford Coppola undertook the restoration of this painting and financed its distribution in the United States. In 1961, the success of Evgeny Urbansky secured the film "Clear Sky", recognized as the best picture of the year in the USSR. It seemed that a bright future awaited him, but despite all the prerequisites, he did not succeed in becoming one of the first Soviet movie stars. he managed to star in only 9 films.

In 1965, on the set of The Director, an accident occurred that took the life of a 33-year-old actor. He had a permanent understudy, a professional athlete, but the actor preferred to perform most of the tricks on his own. The first take was shot without incident, but the director suggested that the stunt be made more difficult by making the car bounce higher and that another take be shot. The truck, driven by Yevgeny Urbansky, jumped up on a sand dune and suddenly overturned. The actor broke his cervical vertebrae and died on the way to the hospital. After the tragic death of Urbansky, the picture was closed, and 4 years later it was re-shot with another actor.

The sudden death of Urbansky immediately gave rise to many ridiculous rumors that made his colleagues resent. So, Aleksey Batalov said indignantly: “When they said about Urbansky that he died because he was drunk, nothing more offensive can be imagined. Once I almost quarreled with the audience, which I never do, because the gossip about Urbansky is monstrously unfair. I know that he was the most conscientious actor, that if he climbed into this car, which became his grave, it was only so that these very spectators would believe in his hero ... ".

In 2002, Rostotsky went to shoot the film "My Border", which took place in the area of a ski resort near Sochi. The places where the tricks were to be filmed, he usually examined himself. Relying on his athletic training, he tried to climb the mountain slope at the Maiden's Tears waterfall without insurance and fell down from a 40-meter height. It was not possible to save the actor - he died in the hospital without regaining consciousness. The widow of Rostotsky said: “And the waterfall is called so for a reason: people died there before. There are many moving stones in this place - it seems that the boulder is firmly on the ground, but in fact it is hanging in the air. Andrey stepped on one of these. After his death, some kind of fence was put up there and a warning sign was hung ... ".
