Gia changes. Required and optional subjects

Getting a decent education in the modern world is a lot of work, which is especially felt at school age. The older the student, the more significant the load on his mental and psychological abilities becomes. You can cope with this only by uniform, measured preparation for the final exams, as they say - in advance. To help many schoolchildren, their parents and relatives, we offer the most relevant material on the topic of GIA in grade 9 in 2018.

Mandatory subjects for passing the GIA in 2018

It should be noted that in 2018, as in previous years, the total number of compulsory subjects for passing the GIA-9 (OGE) will remain unchanged, as before there will be two of them, namely - mathematics and Russian. Only starting from 2020, it is planned to introduce another compulsory subject - a foreign language (see how much will be needed in 2018). Also, graduates of the 9th grade of Russian schools, in 2018, will have to take exams in two subjects to choose from, and they will have to choose from the following disciplines: social science, chemistry, biology, Russian history, physics, geography, literature, computer science and ICT, and of course foreign languages.

GIA 2018: changes and innovations

The talk that the state final certification will undergo major changes in the future has been going on for a very long time, and graduates completing compulsory education will feel the innovations in the coming 2018. We note right away that significant changes in the passing of the GIA (OGE) in 2018 are not expected. But at the same time, minor innovations still touch on some subjects, in particular literature and mathematics:

1) Literature
- brought into line with the Unified State Examination and revised, the so-called. criteria for evaluating detailed answers;
- for the performance of all the work, the initial maximum score was increased from 23 to 29;
- Instructions for individual tasks have been improved and finalized.

2) Mathematics
- in comparison with the structure of 2017, the tasks of the "Real Mathematics" module were excluded from the work. The tasks of this module were divided into modules "Geometry" and "Algebra";
- the maximum primary score, as well as the number of tasks, were left unchanged.

At the moment, this is so far all the innovations regarding the delivery of the GIA in 2018, but over time, new changes may appear, which we will definitely inform you about.

GIA (OGE) schedule for 9 classes 2018 (draft)

Below you can find a preliminary GIA-9 schedule and dates of all final exams in 2018 for 9 classes.

Compulsory state exams are becoming more and more difficult every year, requiring from graduates of the 9th grade deep fundamental knowledge in the main subjects of the school curriculum.

For students who are finishing the 8th grade in the 2017-2018 academic year, it's time to think about how to prepare for the upcoming OGE 2019 and what subjects you need to learn better today.

For teachers of students and their parents, we have collected the most up-to-date information about the OGE next year, namely:

All things

In the 2018-2019 academic year, ninth graders will have to take a total of 5 final exams, of which 2 will be mandatory (Russian language and mathematics), and 3 more students will have the opportunity to choose at their own request from the list of approved subjects. The following are submitted for the elective exam:

  • story;
  • physics;
  • chemistry;
  • Informatics;
  • biology;
  • geography;
  • literature;
  • social science;
  • foreign languages (English, French, German or Spanish).

Knowing what mandatory tests are included in the OGE, you will be able to pull up the necessary subjects to successfully pass the exams in 2019 by entering the desired educational institutions or specialized classes.

Important! For many ninth-graders, the OGE will not just be the result of studying in high school, but also the first step towards the desired profession, because in 2019, exam grades will affect the certificate, and recommended passing scores have been set for specialized classes.

Schedule of the OGE in 2019

Starting from 2018, a mandatory oral part of the Russian language exam is being introduced for graduates of the 9th grade. Speaking will be the first test for schoolchildren and at the same time a kind of admission to the rest of the exams. They plan to take speaking in February (before the start of the preliminary and main campaign).

There is no official schedule for the OGE yet, but today it can be assumed that the campaign will take place in three stages:

  1. Preliminary (end of April - beginning of May).
  2. Main (end of May - beginning of June).
  3. Supplementary (September 2019).

The calendar of the preliminary period of the OGE 2019 will be as follows:

The main exams for the 9th grade in 2019 are scheduled for the following dates:

Autumn (September) retake is scheduled for the following days:

Expected changes

So, we figured out how many and what subjects ninth-graders will have to take in 2019. But what can children expect from tickets? What will be the tasks?

The Ministry of Education and Science assures that they are quite satisfied with the level of tickets for the 2017-2018 academic year and do not plan any major changes. Whether this is so can be said with certainty when the graduation campaign ends and the results are summed up.

In 2019, such innovations of 2017 and 2018 will definitely be preserved, such as:

  • speaking Russian;
  • oral part at the OGE in foreign languages;
  • single tickets for mathematics for all educational institutions and all regions of the Russian Federation;
  • mandatory video surveillance in the classrooms where the exams will be held.

In the coming 2019, 9th grade students will take both compulsory OGE subjects and elective disciplines based on their schools!

Most likely, KIMs for the OGE in compulsory and additional subjects in 2019 will receive minor changes aimed at more precise adjustment of questions and the replacement of some controversial tasks (if any are identified after passing the exams in 2018).

The probability of raising the passing threshold for entry into specialized classes is considered. But, to date, this selection criterion is rather advisory in nature. In 2017-2018, the minimum scores were distributed as follows:

Minimum score

Retake procedure

Compulsory exams for ninth graders are not just a slice of knowledge. The issue of issuing certificates depends on the results that children receive in the course of completing tasks.

In 2019, the right to retake can be used if:

  1. The child could not come to the exam for a good reason (documentary evidence is required).
  2. The student came to the test, but did not complete it for a good reason.
  3. The work was canceled by the SEC (but not through the fault of the student).
  4. The examinee received an unsatisfactory mark in a compulsory subject.
  5. When filing an appeal and its satisfaction after consideration by the conflict commission.

A student is not allowed to retake if:

  1. The exam was skipped without a valid reason.
  2. The child was suspended from work due to his own fault (violation of behavior, use of cheat sheets, unauthorized technical means, etc.).
  3. The examinee "flunked" both mandatory exams or more than 2 subjects.

Keep track of innovations and changes regarding the OGE, which is due to take place in 2019, by reading the latest news on our portal. As soon as the dates and innovations regarding the Unified State Examination and the OGE are announced, we will be the first to tell you about it!

Training

The most important component of the successful passing of the GIA is always the systematic study of the subject throughout all the years of schooling. If some gaps in knowledge have formed from grades 5 to 8, it's time to fill them up by starting intensive preparation for the final exams.

Where to begin?

  1. Find out what exams your 9th grade will take and how many subjects are submitted for final certification in 2019.
  2. Repeat the theoretical foundations in the selected disciplines.
  3. Practice as much as possible in solving tests and problems by working through trial versions of OGE tickets for 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Most schools organize additional classes to prepare for the final exams. If there are none, and the need for the help of a teacher is obvious, it is worth considering the option of group or individual lessons with a tutor.

Information that can be found on the net can become indispensable. These are explanations for the solutions of a certain type of tasks, and video lessons, and collections of theory necessary for preparing for the OGE.

The main state exam (also called the OGE) is a test that every grade 9 graduate must pass. It is he who becomes for schoolchildren a kind of ticket to life and a guarantor of further education: according to the results of the OGE, a student can go to grades 10-11 in order to then enter a university, or go to a college or technical school to receive an initial vocational education and junior bachelor's degree.

Every year, rumors are circulating in the Russian media that the OGE may well be canceled. However, in 2018 given form exams aren't going anywhere. Schoolchildren finishing grade 9 will have to pore over textbooks and demo tests, and parents should attend to buying the latest methodological developments or turn to the help of tutors to be sure that their child will move to the next educational step.

To pass the OGE for the highest score, you will have to do self-education

In the process of preparation, do not forget that FIPI annually makes changes to KIM aimed at increasing the objectivity and completeness of knowledge testing, and Rosobrnadzor publishes news about innovations in the methodology and procedure for conducting the OGE. So that these innovations do not become an unpleasant surprise for you, we will tell you about the intricacies of the OGE-2018.

What is OGE?

The first step is to figure out what the above abbreviation is. How does it differ from the GIA - the most common concept that indicates the certification of high school graduates? GIA (state final certification) consists of two forms of examination:

  • state final exam (GVE), which is intended for passing in educational institutions closed type (i.e. for pupils of colonies of juvenile delinquents or boarding schools), as well as for students who studied in foreign institutions, and disabled children;
  • the main state exam (OGE), which is precisely the main type of certification. It is this test that the bulk of the 9th grade graduates of Russian schools must pass. Like the Unified State Examination for eleventh graders, the OGE consists in solving KIMs, takes place on certain days and is checked by members of special commissions.

Innovations in the OGE-2018

Every year, specialists from FIPI and Rosobrnadzor publish changes that relate to the rules for attestation. Let's take a closer look at what's new in 2018.

Increasing the number of exams

Recall that until 2014, students had to pass a test in four subjects. Two of them - the Russian language and the math exam - were passed by everyone, and two more could be chosen individually. In 2014, it was decided to oblige ninth-graders to take only two compulsory disciplines, and they could choose the rest on a voluntary basis. This innovation had an immediate impact on the level of overall performance and the number of exams.

Every year the number of exams will only increase.

Approximately 90% of all students limited themselves to passing Russian and mathematics. If in 2013 more than 40% of all students passed social studies, in 2014 this figure dropped to 9%, biology was chosen by 3.5% of schoolchildren (in 2013 there were 21.5%), and physics only 4.1% (in 2013 - 12.8%). Therefore, starting from 2016, it was decided to return the practice of passing four exams.

In 2018, schoolchildren will be forced to pass a test in 5 subjects (the Russian language and mathematics will be mandatory, and three more to choose from), and by 2020 the Ministry of Education promises to bring their number to six. According to FIPI experts, this approach will help encourage students to engage in self-development, increase overall academic performance, and also lead to an increase in the number of students attending preparatory courses.

What disciplines can you choose from?

The opportunity to make a choice in favor of three disciplines concerns history, biology, computer science, social studies, physics, foreign languages (today English, German, Spanish and French), as well as geography, chemistry and literature.

Does the result of the exam affect the grade in the certificate?

The grade obtained at the OGE-2018 is taken into account when forming a certificate. If in 2016 attestation scores were influenced only by the OGE grades in mathematics and the Russian language, then from 2017, scores for selective subjects will also be taken into account in the final document of a ninth grader. By the way, secondary school graduation documents will be issued only to those students who were able to pass at least 4 out of 5 subjects with a grade of “satisfactory” and higher.

OGE will help you correct an unsatisfactory score in the certificate

It is worth noting that the principles of scoring for mathematics have changed. If in previous years algebra and geometry were evaluated separately, now a single scale of marks in mathematics is being introduced. In general, the conversion of points into grades will take place as follows:

  • ticket for Russian language allows you to score a maximum of 39 points. At the same time, a score of "5" will be given if the student scored from 34 points, "4" - 25-33, "3" - 15-24 points. Moreover, to get an A, you need to score at least 6 points for literacy. If a student is going to continue to study in a specialized class, he needs to score at least 31 points for the OGE;
  • KIM by mathematics allows you to score a maximum of 32 points, of which 14 is allocated for algebra, 11 for geometry and 7 for real mathematics. For the mark "5" you need to score at least 22 points, "4" - 15-21, "3" - 8-14. At the same time, to get a triple, you need to score at least 3 points in algebra, 2 in geometry and 2 in real mathematics. If a student claims to continue studying in a specialized class of a natural science profile, he needs to have at least 18 points for this OGE (10 for algebra, 6 for geometry, 2 for real mathematics). For those who wish to study in the economy class, the selection starts from 18 points (9 - algebra, 3 - geometry, 5 - real mathematics). If your dream is a physics and mathematics class, you will need to manage to score 19 points, and at least 11 in algebra, 7 in geometry, the rest for real mathematics;
  • exam on physics assumes that the student can write a ticket for a maximum of 40 points. The mark "5" is received by those who scored more than 31 points, "4" - 20-30, "3" - 10-19. For the profile class, it is recommended to select students who managed to earn 30 points or more;
  • maximum score for the exam chemistry equal to 34. The mark "5" is set for points equal to 27 and above, "4" - 18-26, "3" - 9-17 points. If you want to get into a chemistry class, you should try to score at least 23 points for a ticket. At the same time, a different type of ticket can be offered for special schools, including a real experiment. In this case, the work can be written for a maximum of 38 points, and the marks are distributed as follows: "5" - from 29, "4" - 19-28, "3" - 9-18 points. Students with a score of 25 or more are recommended for the profile class;
  • the maximum you can get for biology, is equal to 46 points. The mark "5" means that the student received from 37 points, "4" - 26-36, "3" - 13-25 points. Landmark for admission to a specialized class - 33 points for the implementation of KIM;
  • exam on geography gives you the opportunity to get 32 points maximum. For a score of "5" it is worth scoring from 27 points, "4" - 20-26, "3" - 12-19 points. In order to get into a class with an in-depth study of this subject, you need to score from 24 points;
  • the maximum you can get for social science, is equal to 39 points. Those who scored from 34 points will be able to get "excellent", "good" - 25-33, "satisfactory" - 15-24 points. Recruitment to the biology class is recommended for students who have received at least 30 points for this exam;
  • exam on stories assumes that the student can write a ticket for a maximum of 44 points. The mark "5" is received by those who wrote a ticket from 35 points, "4" - scored 24-34, "3" - 13-23 points. For the profile class, it is recommended to select students who managed to earn 30 points or more;
  • ticket for literature allows you to score a maximum of 23 points. At the same time, a score of "5" will be given if the student scored from 19 points, "4" - 14-18, "3" - 7-13 points. If the student is going to continue to study in a specialized class, he needs to score at least 15 points for this OGE;
  • KIM by informatics allows you to score a maximum of 22 points. For the mark "5" you need to score at least 18 points, "4" - 12-17, "3" - 5-11 points. If a student claims to continue studying in a specialized class, he needs to have at least 15 points for this OGE;
  • ticket for foreign language The maximum score is 70 points. Those who scored from 59 points will be able to get "excellent", "good" - 46-58, "satisfactory" - 29-45 points. Recruitment to a foreign language class is recommended for students who have received from 56 points for the exam.

Without finishing the material, you may be faced with the need to retake

Can I retake the exam?

As already mentioned, in 2018, ninth graders will have to pass five exam tests. Specialists from the Ministry of Education took into account the possibility that one of the students may “flunk” several subjects. In this case, they will be given the opportunity to retake, but they can only retake the test in two subjects. Perhaps in 2018 this number will be expanded to three. If more “unsatisfactory” grades were received, the student remains for a second year of study.

Who checks the exam papers?

Another innovation in 2017 was the tightening of the work verification procedure. Starting from this time, the knowledge of secondary school graduates will be assessed not by a commission assembled from specialists from regional educational authorities, but by members of a federal commission. So Rosobrnadzor hopes to reduce the number of facts of abuse by regional teachers, since in each region of Russia the marks for the same answer were often set based on completely different criteria.

What are the dates for the OGE?

The dates on which the OGE-2018 will be held have not yet been determined. However, based on the experience of past years, we can say that the OGE-2018 will have 2 stages. One of them is the main dates of the examination, the second is early. Early exams usually begin on the twentieth of April, the main dates are in May-June, and retakes are in September.

Changes in KIMs 2018

Today, KIMs for passing the OGE are considered to be sufficiently developed, so FIPI does not plan to make any significant changes to them yet. Let's take a quick look at the characteristics of the tickets recent years so you know what you will face in the exam.

OGE in mathematics is one of the most important and mandatory exams

Maths

KIM in mathematics includes 26 tasks divided into 3 modules:

  • algebraic, consisting of 11 tasks;
  • geometric, including 8 tasks;
  • real mathematics, which contains 7 tasks.

Part of the tasks (No. 2-3, 8 and 14) assumes that the student will choose from the options and write down a short answer on the sheet, the answer to the rest of the tasks is a number or a certain sequence of numbers. You need to solve the ticket in 3 hours and 55 minutes.

Russian language

The ticket includes a total of 15 tasks that must be completed in 3 hours and 55 minutes. KIM is divided into three parts:

  • the first of them is one task in the form of a written work that needs to be written based on the material heard. It will be possible to get acquainted with it twice;
  • the second - 13 tasks in the form of simple tests with one correct answer, or tasks that need to be answered with a word, number or phrase;
  • the third part is the writing of an essay-reasoning on one of the topics offered in the ticket.

By the way, it will be possible to use a spelling dictionary in the exam, so it’s worth checking literacy to get a good mark.

Social science

KIM in this subject - 31 tasks that need to be solved in three hours. There are two parts to the ticket:

  • the first of them involves solving 25 tasks, for which you need to select and write down a short answer;
  • the second part, in which there are only 6 tasks, they need to be answered in an expanded form.

Chemistry

Like last year, there will be 2 parts in the work, which together consist of 22 tasks:

  • The first part offers students to solve 19 tasks. The answer must be written in short form;
  • in the second part there are only 3 tasks, but they will be more complex and require a solution and a detailed formulation of the answers.

Chemistry can be solved within two hours.

In the chemistry exam, you have to solve 22 problems in 2 hours

Biology

The ticket contains 32 tasks, divided into 2 parts:

  • the first is 28 tasks for which you need to give a short answer;
  • the second - only 4 tasks, suggesting that the student will give a detailed reasoned answer.

You can work with tests for three hours.

Geography

This KIM consists of 30 tasks that need to be solved in two hours. Answers to tests 1 to 8, 10 to 13, 21 to 22 and 27 to 29 must be in the form of a number corresponding to the number of one of the proposed answers. Tasks No. 9, 14, 16 to 19, 24 to 26 and 30 require an answer in the form of a word or several numbers.

The most difficult tasks are numbers 15, 20 and 23. Here you need to try to demonstrate deep knowledge of the subject by giving an exhaustive answer to the question and supporting it with arguments. By the way, in this exam it will be possible to use atlases, rulers and calculators of a non-programmable type.

Physics

The ticket is quite small - only 26 tasks, divided into two parts:

  • part 1 - this is 21 tasks, providing for a short answer;
  • part 2 - 5 tasks to which you need to give a reasoned answer.

At the same time, you can work with a ticket for up to three hours.

Do you want to take a special class? Then you have to score more than 30 points!

Informatics

To date, this KIM consists of two parts, which contain two dozen tasks. The first part of them (Nos. 1-18) are simple tests that require a short answer. The second part (only 2 tasks) is designed to demonstrate the student's computer skills. The time allotted for the exam is 2.5 hours. However, remember that it will be possible to start working on the second part only after you turn in the answer sheet for the first part of the ticket.

Story

KIM in history is 35 tasks that need to be solved in three hours. There are two parts to the ticket:

  • the first of them involves solving 30 tasks for which you need to select and write down a short answer;
  • the second is a part in which there are only 5 tasks. They need to be answered in an expanded form. At the same time, in tasks numbered 31 and 32, you will need to demonstrate the skill of working with a historical source, since the answer requires the presence of arguments and factual material.

Literature

The ticket is small, but will require you to demonstrate the degree of language proficiency and the skill of arguing your point of view. In the first part of KIM, it will be possible to choose one of the options for the texts of a literary work. One of them is epic literature, the second is a poem or a fable. You can decide for yourself what will be easier to work with. For each of the options, it was proposed to solve three tasks. The answer to the first two of the questions should be argued based on the content of the proposed passage.

In addition, you will need to write a short reflection essay in which you will need to compare two fragments of literary works. The second part of the work is an essay on one of four topics. Here you need not only to write your opinion, but also to support it with quotes from literary sources. However, do not be alarmed - at the OGE it will be possible to use a collection of lyrical works. In total, 235 minutes were allotted for work.

In literature, you will have to show your ability to clearly express thoughts in an essay

Foreign languages

Some changes were made to the latest sample of KIMs regarding the wording of task No. 36, related to the "speaking" section. Students are now offered a few phrases that must be applied at the time when they will reveal a certain topic.

The OGE is the main state exam, which is taken by schoolchildren in the 9th grade, 2018 will not be an exception.

The exam is designed to control the knowledge gained by students for all years and is necessary for admission to technical schools and colleges. For students who decide to continue their studies at school, this is a dress rehearsal passing the exam. Based on the results, it will be possible to draw conclusions about which subjects you need to focus on so that the grades in the certificate are as high as possible.

What changes will take place in the system of final certification of ninth-graders, and why are these changes inevitable?

There will be two compulsory subjects at the OGE 2018, as in previous years:

  • Russian language;
  • maths.

The question of how many subjects to take in the OGE in 2018 is of interest to many children and parents, because there have been rumors about innovations for a long time. Representatives of the Duma, headed by Deputy Minister of Education Natalya Tretiak, decided back in 2015 that additional exams should be introduced in 2017 and 2018.

Already, this year, 2017, the rules have become stricter. Instead of 2 compulsory subjects, it became 4, and, in 2018, their number may increase to 5, although this issue is still under discussion. In any case, the choice of additional subjects and preparation for the exam should be started as early as possible.

What innovations do the deputies propose to make?

  1. In 2018, it is planned to introduce another compulsory subject, and thus, ninth graders will need to pass 5 exams.
  2. By 2020, it is planned to introduce two more mandatory exams, which means that the number of subjects to be taken will increase to six.
  3. Those who fail to pass the four main subjects will not receive a certificate and will be forced to go for a retake in August.

It is not yet known which ones in the 9th grade of the OGE will have to be taken in 2018, but there are rumors that history (or social studies) and physics will become mandatory subjects for delivery. Thus, children will have to prepare much more effectively for passing all the standards.

Reasons for the increase in the number of compulsory subjects

Trying to find out what compulsory subjects are included in the OGE in 2018, parents are faced with a stream of inaccurate information. The thing is that the innovations have not yet come into force, but their activation is only a matter of time.

There are several reasons why the State Duma wants to increase the number of mandatory exams:

  • the percentage of schoolchildren who take additional subjects in addition to compulsory subjects has fallen sharply;
  • according to the deputies, a small number of compulsory subjects for delivery negatively affects the level of knowledge of schoolchildren;
  • passing a wide range of subjects in the 9th grade will help the child to successfully cope with the exam at the time of graduation.

The statistics cited by the deputies is harsh: after they canceled the delivery of two compulsory elective subjects in 2014, the number of ninth-graders who take social studies additionally decreased from 41% to 9%. The number of those who pass biology on their own initiative also decreased from 21% to 3.5%, and such statistics are relevant for all disciplines. Children who know about the need to pass only two subjects do not bother to choose any additional disciplines, which negatively affects the quality of their knowledge. How many exams there will be in the OGE in 2018 is not yet known exactly, but most likely there will be 5.

Changes in the OGE 2018 in the Russian language

The biggest changes may concern the obligatory Russian language exam. Namely, its oral part. There have been a lot of discussions about this lately, but now there is more concrete information about what awaits us in 2018.

FIPI (Federal Institute pedagogical measurements) began working on changes to the exam in 2015. But the professional discussion took place only now. In 2017 new model tested in a number of schools from different regions of the country. As a result, the vast majority of teachers and experts supported her.

There are 2 versions of the oral form:

1) using a headset and recording the answers of the examinee, with their subsequent analysis;

2) admission by the examination committee. In this case, the presence of an independent expert will be required, who will control the objectivity of the points awarded.

The final decision on the inclusion of the oral part in the OGE in the Russian language will be made before November of this year.

Features of conducting exams according to new standards

Having figured out how many subjects in the OGE will be taken in 2018, it remains only to find out how the innovations will affect the examination process itself. What changes in the OGE have already taken place or are still to come in 2018?

  1. Since 2017, grades for compulsory subjects directly affect the student's certificate.
  2. The OGE in Informatics is now taken at the computer.
  3. If until 2016 grades were set on different scales in each region, and teachers themselves set the threshold of “two”, then since 2017 a single scale has been introduced for all educational institutions. (Decree of Rosobrnadzor No. 920-10 of 04/26/2017)
  4. An attestation system has been introduced in the fourth grade to improve the level of knowledge of schoolchildren. The possibility of introducing additional certification in primary grades is also being considered.
  5. The system of KIMs, that is, control and measuring materials, in the 9th grade from 2018 will also no longer be developed by teachers in the regions according to the proposed options, but will become the same for the whole country. To date, they are trained by more than one and a half hundred specialists in 11 federal commissions.

All these innovations seem too complicated, especially if we take into account the fact that earlier passing the OGE in the 9th grade was not mandatory at all. However, in the opinion of the deputies and the Ministry of Education, the introduced changes will have a positive effect on the progress of children, on increasing the general level of their intellectual abilities.

According to the OGE 2018, the Russian language and mathematics will remain the main compulsory subjects for delivery, but additional ones will appear. In addition, ninth graders will be able to choose subjects from among the optional subjects for delivery, which will help them enter a particular educational institution. The introduction of additional certifications in primary and secondary schools will help children better prepare for the OGE and reduce the number of “twos” for exams. The introduction of all these changes will be preceded by a global discussion in the State Duma. However, the annual increase in the requirements for passing the OGE with almost 100% probability will lead to the fact that the number of exams for ninth graders will at least double.

OGE 2018 in Crimea and Sevastopol

An exception was made for schoolchildren in Crimea and Sevastopol and, according to federal law dated October 27, 2015 No. 293-FZ, in 2018 they can take the OGE according to the established uniform rules, or they can refuse and pass the certification in the old form.

Such an indulgence was made taking into account the fact that the program in which they studied earlier was noticeably different from other Russian schools. Apparently, 2018 will be the last year when 9th graders in Crimea will not be able to take the OGE.

Additional OGE subjects

If suddenly a student wants to move to another class, for example, with in-depth study, or a lyceum or with an individual approach, then in this case it may be necessary to pass additional disciplines. - in-depth, lyceum or, perhaps, with an individual approach.

Additional subjects can also help in training before the main USE exams for high school graduates.

So far, there is no reason that the number of additional exams in 2018 will change - there will be 2 of them, as before. The list of additional GIA exams for grade 9 looks like this:

  • story;
  • social science;
  • literature;
  • geography;
  • biology;
  • physics;
  • chemistry;
  • informatics and ICT;
  • English language;
  • German;
  • French;
  • Spanish.

The main state exam or briefly the OGE is taken by schoolchildren following the completion of nine years of education. The main state exam, graduates of the 9th grade have been taking it for many years, and the next year 2018 will not be an exception. In addition, it is already known that the OGE-2018 will undergo several changes, which our article will help you learn about.

OGE 2018: how many subjects you need to take

It should be noted that so far no changes are expected regarding the number of compulsory subjects taken at the OGE 2018, as before, ninth graders will take two mandatory exams: Russian language and mathematics. These two subjects are among the dominant ones in all school education. In addition to compulsory subjects, in 2018, 9th grade graduates will need to pass 2 more elective exams (see below).

Items to choose from

All ninth-graders for passing the main state exam in 2018, in addition to compulsory subjects, are invited to choose two additional subjects from the following disciplines: physics, chemistry, biology, geography, as well as social science, Russian history, literature, computer science and ICT, foreign languages. Previously, it was possible to take additional subjects at the main state exam voluntarily. However, the majority of students simply did not take any additional subjects, which is why a sharp decrease in the level of knowledge among ninth grade graduates was revealed.

Of course, in ordinary life Not all subjects and knowledge will be useful. But school preparation is, first of all, discipline and expansion of boundaries, acquaintance with different aspects of life and science. Teaching children according to the methods of past decades means missing a huge number of nuances dictated by modern world. Changes are needed, but how fruitful the methods that are used in schools in teaching and passing exams now, time will tell.

Changes when passing the OGE in 2018

The changes that the OGE will undergo in 2018 include a change in the assessment system (see the latest).

From now on, the grades obtained as a result of exams will directly affect the final grade in the certificate.
Those who failed the OGE in the main period will be able to retake it in August (September). Every 9th grade graduate will have a second chance.
The system of control and measuring materials that students use to prepare and take exams was previously developed by teachers for each school individually. From now on, KIM will be the same for the whole country.
