The lighthouse, which is the symbol of Şile, was built in 1859 by order of Sultan Abdulaziz in order to help ships enter the Bosphorus. It is located on a huge sheer cliff. It was built by engineers from France in 1859. It is the second largest lighthouse in the world and the largest operating lighthouse in Turkey. The lighthouse functions to this day, and is also open as a museum. This modest museum has a small collection of various lamps and light bulbs, ancient mechanisms. The museum is open from May to August from 10:00 to 16:00, except Mondays.
The fortress on the island of Ojakli is visible from the coastline. Unfortunately, the fortress was not restored in the most successful way, although it is of historical value. According to one version, it was erected by the Byzantine emperor Andronicus, according to another, by the Genoese. It served as an excellent observation post and protected the city from raids from the sea.
In the eastern part of Šile, not far from the locally famous lighthouse, right in the middle of the rocks flows a spring with the interesting name Weeping Rocks. This name is not accidental: if you look closely, you can see the appearance of a weeping human face on the rocky walls.
You can get from Istanbul to Şile and Agva by buses No. 139 (in Şile) and No. 139A (in Şile and Agva), departing from the Harem Otogar bus station. Buses run from 6:30 am to 12 am (No. 139), and from 6:00 am to 8:30 pm (No. 139A).

Jaddebostan

In the picturesque area of Floria, on the shores of the Sea of Marmara, two city beaches are open to the public. The first recreation area is equipped with 200 sun loungers, 200 umbrellas, a first-aid post, changing rooms, a canteen and parking for 300 cars. Entrance to the beach is free, and getting to it is not difficult. You can get to the center of Floria by bus, and from there you can walk to the coast on foot. Interestingly, Ataturk Airport is located near the beach. Therefore, watching the planes is one of the entertainments of its visitors.
Nearby is the second beach, where most of the city's residents come. There are already 1,500 sun loungers and umbrellas for rent, as well as 228 storage rooms. In the peak of the summer season, you can play volleyball on a specially designated area and listen to music. This beach is clean and protected. The entrance ticket will cost 15 liras for adults and 10 for children. Children under 7 can visit Floria for free.
Istanbul private beaches
Uzunya
Recognized as one of the most beautiful places to stay in Istanbul. Uzunya is located in the European part of the city, on the shores of the Black Sea. Dahlia

Beaches around Istanbul
Quillos
