It’s easy to prepare chicken legs that your guests will simply admire. I'll tell you how to bake chicken drumsticks in the oven, after soaking them in a special marinade.

Turmeric, black pepper, red paprika and garlic will add unique flavor notes and beautiful color. And mayonnaise will do its job - it will give the chicken meat softness and a delicate structure. A step-by-step recipe with photos will show all the nuances of baking chicken drumsticks. You just have to follow my recommendations - and you will succeed.

I will list the necessary products:

  • chicken drumsticks - 4-6 pcs.;
  • mayonnaise - 1-2 table. spoon;
  • garlic - 2-3 cloves;
  • ground black pepper - 2-3 pinches;
  • paprika - 1\2 tsp. spoons;
  • turmeric - 1/4 tsp. spoons;

How to bake chicken drumsticks in the oven in mayonnaise, garlic and spices

The main condition for obtaining soft and juicy meat is that the chicken legs must lie in the marinade for a long time before baking. Therefore, we will prepare them for this procedure. We wash the shins with water and wipe them dry with a napkin. Then, place it in a container, add salt, pepper and coat with chopped garlic.

Sprinkle with paprika and turmeric. This is what it looks like in my photo.

Add mayonnaise and coat the chicken pieces with spices and mayonnaise with your hands.

Carefully coat all sides of the drumsticks, then place them in a bowl where they are pressed tightly against each other, cover with a lid and place in the refrigerator. It will be better if they stand in the marinade all night.

Before baking, grease the pan with vegetable oil and place it tightly in it, straightening the skin.

Bake in the oven until golden brown at 200°C for 30-40 minutes.

Garnish chicken drumsticks. The dish, in terms of taste and presentation, is intended to be served on a festive table in the form of a hot appetizer. But even on weekdays it’s nice to please your family with delicious chicken legs baked in the oven according to this simple recipe.

Chicken legs in a bag

Ingredients:

500 g puff pastry (unleavened or yeast)
600 g (6 pieces) chicken drumstick
300 g mushrooms (fresh or frozen)
700 g potatoes
150 g onion
50 ml milk
30 g butter
salt
pepper
vegetable oil

Preparation:

Peel the potatoes and boil until tender.

Finely chop the onion.

Peel the mushrooms and chop finely.

Fry the onion in vegetable oil.

Add mushrooms and cook until all liquid has evaporated (about 15 minutes).

Season the drumstick with salt and pepper, fry in vegetable oil until cooked (about 25-30 minutes).
Cool.

Add butter to potatoes and mash.

Add milk, salt to taste, stir.

Mix mashed potatoes and mushrooms.
Cool.

Roll out the dough to about 3 mm thick, cut out a rectangle, and save the scraps.

Cut into 15x15 cm squares.

Make a small “cake” from the scraps and place it in the middle of the square (this is done so that the bottom does not tear).

Place 2-3 tbsp in the middle. fillings.

Place the drumstick on top of the filling.

Gather the edges of the dough and tie with thread (do not tie too tightly).

Line a baking tray with baking paper or grease a little with vegetable oil.
Lay out the bags.

You can wrap the bones in foil to prevent them from burning.
Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
Bake until golden brown (about 15-20 minutes).
Don’t forget to remove the thread from the finished bags. I use ready-made store-bought dough.

Chicken legs (magic recipe)

Ingredients:

chicken legs 8-9 pcs
onion 1 piece
garlic 3-4 cloves
carrots 1 piece
bell pepper 1 piece
salt 1 tsp (if you use less chicken, do not forget to proportionally reduce the amount of salt!!!)

Agree, these vegetables are available almost always, at any time of the year. No frills :)

Preparation:

In my opinion, you shouldn't chop the onion too finely.

You also need to chop the garlic

Pour a little vegetable oil into the frying pan

And simmer the onion and garlic over low heat (4-5 minutes)

Peel the carrots and grate them on a coarse or fine grater, as you like (you can also chop them in a blender)

And add to the onion

Remove seeds from peppers and rinse. In terms of color, of course, it is better to take any color other than green - yellow, red, orange.

Add to the pan and simmer for another 5 minutes

Wash the chicken legs and remove the skin if desired (we don’t like it for some reason)

Season with salt and add dried herbs as desired

Rub each leg with your hands with this mixture (or just salt), then place them all on top of the vegetables and cover with water

The water should almost completely cover the chicken.

Cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 30 minutes (after 15 minutes, turn each leg over to the other side). During this time, you can prepare absolutely any side dish your heart desires. This chicken goes with everything :)

Be sure to check the readiness at the end - pierce the meatiest leg with a fork: if red-burgundy juice starts to flow out, simmer more, if it’s transparent white, it’s ready!

Chicken legs baked in the oven

Ingredients:

4-5 pcs. chicken legs
1 glass of kefir (preferably fatty)
2-3 tbsp. l. chopped chives
3 tbsp. l. lemon juice
1 tbsp. l. herbs
½ tsp. turmeric
¼ tsp. sweet paprika
¼ tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. ground black pepper
2-3 cloves of garlic
breadcrumbs

Preparation:

Mix kefir with salt, ground black pepper and herbs. Herbs can be any - rosemary, thyme, tarragon, marjoram, etc.

For the sauce, mix kefir, salt and spices to taste
Mix turmeric, ginger and sweet paprika. Add the resulting mixture to kefir.

Add lemon juice to the marinade.

Chop the chives and garlic. Add to marinade. If you don’t have chives, you can safely use green onions or onions.

Mix the marinade well. By the way, instead of kefir you can use yogurt or low-fat sour cream.

Before preparing chicken legs, thoroughly wash the legs themselves under running water and dry them with paper towels.

Pour marinade over chicken legs.

Divinely delicious stuffed chicken legs

We will need:

4 medium legs
piece of pork 150 grams
garlic 2 cloves
orange 1 piece
homemade mayonnaise
salt

First of all, carefully remove the skin from the leg with a “stocking” - it’s very simple.
Separate the fillet from the bone and cut it into small pieces, add the pork cut into pieces.
We marinate in homemade mayonnaise, because... it contains pepper, salt and mustard, about 30 minutes.
Then cut the orange into pieces without peel and squeeze out the garlic.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
We fill our “stockings” with stuffing, fold the edges and, for security, I secured them with a toothpick.
Place in a hot frying pan and lightly fry the chicken legs on each side until golden brown.
Then put the fried legs in a baking dish and cook in the oven at 180*C. 20 minutes.
Our divine dish is ready, and the combination of orange, garlic, seasonings and meat will not leave anyone indifferent - it’s very tasty!!!

Chicken legs baked in the oven with mayonnaise

Who doesn't love oven-baked chicken legs?! Another question is that these same legs, to put it mildly, are not exactly a dietary product. For those who are not on a diet, the recipe is “chicken legs baked in the oven.”

Ingredients:

Chicken quarters - 4 pcs.
Carrots - 1-2 medium
Onion - 2 medium heads
Ketchup, mayonnaise to taste
Salt, pepper to taste

Chicken drumsticks in sour cream marinade

You will need:

Chicken drumstick – 1300 g
Sour cream - 1 glass
Lemon - 1 pc.
Garlic - 4 cloves
Parsley - to taste
Dried oregano - 0.5 tbsp. spoons
Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. spoons
Ground pepper - to taste
Salt - 0.5 teaspoon or to taste

How to cook:

1. We start preparing the sour cream marinade with lemon. We rinse it thoroughly under running water, wipe it with a kitchen towel, arm ourselves with a grater with small holes or a special one for citrus fruits and grate the zest into any convenient plate. Then place the lemon on a cutting board, cut it in half and squeeze out the juice. For our recipe, 1 tablespoon is enough.

We wash the parsley under running water, shake it over the sink, transfer it to a cutting board and finely chop it with a sharp knife.

Peel the garlic and chop it on a cutting board into small pieces of arbitrary shape.

Place sour cream, oregano, lemon juice with zest, garlic, vegetable oil, salt and ground pepper in a bowl. Mix everything until smooth.

Now add the parsley and mix again with a tablespoon. The marinade is ready!

2. Let's move on to the meat. We thoroughly wash the chicken drumsticks under cold running water, dry them with paper kitchen towels or napkins and, if necessary, cut off the skin.

3. Place the chicken drumsticks in a plastic bag with a zipper or a regular plastic bag and carefully, using a tablespoon, pour the marinade. Then close the lock or simply screw the bag tightly and mix the contents several times so that the marinade evenly covers all the chicken drumsticks.

Then we put the bag of chicken in the refrigerator to marinate for 30 minutes.

4. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, remove the bag of chicken from the refrigerator and place the drumsticks in a baking dish.

After the oven has warmed up, place a baking sheet and bake the meat until fully cooked, about 45 - 60 minutes. During this time, the chicken should be completely baked and covered with a beautiful golden brown crust.

5. Remove the aromatic chicken drumsticks from the oven, place on plates and serve hot. An excellent side dish would be mashed potatoes, pasta of any shape, boiled cereals, such as buckwheat rice or couscous, as well as any vegetable salad. That's it, our delicious chicken is ready!

6. Place in the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees.

Chicken with vegetables in sour cream sauce

Ingredients:

5-6 pcs. chicken drumstick
- 500 g zucchini
- 400-500 g green beans
- 2 onions
- 3 tomatoes
- 3 cloves of garlic
- a mixture of ground peppers
- 300 g sour cream
- 1 tbsp. spoon of mayonnaise

Preparation:

1. Lightly fry chicken drumsticks in vegetable oil (until half cooked), remove them and set aside.
2. In this frying pan, fry the green beans and onions for about 10 minutes, then add the diced zucchini.
3. In a deep bowl, mix sour cream with mayonnaise, add a mixture of peppers, garlic, passed through a press.
4. Place the vegetable mixture in a baking dish, put chicken and tomatoes cut into large slices on top.
5. Pour the sauce on top and distribute evenly throughout the dish.
6. Place in the oven at 170 degrees for 20 minutes.

How to fry delicious chicken legs

Ingredients:

chicken legs - 4 pcs.;

pear juice - 1 table. spoon;

olive butter - 3 table. spoons;

tomato pasta - 2 tables. spoons;

mustard - 1 table. spoon;

soy sauce - 1 table. spoon;

balsamic vinegar - 2 tables. spoons;

garlic - 2 teeth;

raises oil - for frying.

Preparation:

1. Pour pear juice into a pre-prepared bowl, then soy sauce, tomato paste, mustard, balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

2. All these ingredients must be mixed thoroughly.

4. Mix everything thoroughly again, and the marinade is ready!

5. Grease the chicken legs with the prepared marinade and put them in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours.

6. After this time, heat the frying pan, add the amount of vegetable oil that you consider necessary for frying (since some people like it richer, but I add about 50-70 ml of oil) and place the chicken legs in the frying pan.

7. Fry them until golden brown.

8. Ready chicken legs should be served with sauce. You choose the sauce according to your taste. Even with mayonnaise, they will be unforgettably delicious, and if you prepare some other favorite sauce, then I am sure that even the news of the next end of the world will not tear you away from the plate.

Chicken legs with bacon

Ingredients:

Salt
Bacon (long slices) – 8 pcs.
Soy sauce (kikkoman) - 2 tbsp. l.
Honey - 1 tbsp. l.
Olive oil - 3-4 tbsp. l.
Hard cheese (parmesan, grated) - 2 tbsp. l.
Chili pepper - 1 pc.
Onions (one for mango sauce) - 2 pcs.
Chicken drumstick – 8 pcs
Mango (small) – 1 piece
Sauce (balsamic) - 1-2 tbsp. l.
Ginger (small piece)
Cilantro (fresh)
Lemon juice - 1-2 tbsp. l.

Preparation:

Cut off the cartilaginous joints from the shins and clean the bone, cut off the tendon with scissors.

1 onion, ginger, half a chili pepper very finely chopped. Add grated Parmesan.

Mix all. Add soy sauce, honey, 1-2 tbsp. l. olive oil.

Stir everything well.

Lightly pry the skin off the legs and fill the resulting pocket with this “minced meat”.

Wrap each leg in bacon and secure with a skewer. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Gently brush the legs with olive oil and bake for 20-25 minutes until done.

While the legs are baking, prepare the sauce. Personally, I'm delighted with it! Cut the mango into two parts. Cut off the pulp and chop finely. Add finely chopped onion, the remaining half of the chili, if you have cilantro.

Add olive oil, balsamic sauce (if you don’t have it, you can just add more lemon juice and or balsamic vinegar), lemon juice, salt (my favorite is Adyghe). Mix everything well. And be sure to try and adjust the salt and acid to your taste. Serve the legs with the sauce and fresh ciabatta. Enjoy your holiday and enjoy your meal!

Mexican chicken legs

Ingredients:

4-6 chicken legs
coarse salt
filling
100 ml ketchup
80-90 ml water
1-2 tbsp. spoons of lemon juice
0.5 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon melted butter
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tbsp. spoon of chopped celery leaves (0.5 tsp dried)

Preparation:

Rub the legs, already washed and dried with paper towels, with salt. Put it in the form.

In a bowl, mix the filling ingredients.

Pour the legs, making sure that the sauce gets under them.

Bake under the grill or, if there is none, preheat the oven to maximum. Depending on the mode, bake for 20-35 minutes, during which we pour the sauce over the legs 2-3 times, scooping it out of the mold. You may have to turn the legs over.
When the chicken legs are covered with a red-golden crust and the meat is easily pierced with a wooden toothpick, remove the mold.

Drumsticks in mayonnaise is a universal dish, loved by housewives for its taste, satiety, availability of products and the easy process of preparing ingredients and preparing the dish itself. Drumsticks in mayonnaise are good for a family dinner, a meeting with friends or a holiday table. Drumsticks in mayonnaise - general principles

The set of ingredients for the basic recipe is minimal: the drumsticks themselves, mayonnaise, salt, spices.

Buy drumsticks that are the same size so they can be marinated and baked at the same time. Rinse the selected legs thoroughly and dry. After this, feel free to proceed either to marinating or directly to heat treatment.

Chicken meat is soft and does not require long soaking. Therefore, if you decide to marinate the drumsticks, you just need to mix mayonnaise with your favorite spices and herbs, place the legs in this mixture and soak them in the marinade for 30 minutes to 2 hours.

You can significantly speed up the process by thoroughly rubbing the legs with a similar mixture. For great taste, in this case it is recommended to make small cuts in the drumsticks.

I use both store-bought and homemade mayonnaise. Additionally, most often they add herbs, oregano, cardamom, garlic, curry, a mixture of peppers - there are no restrictions, chicken meat is combined with almost all spices.

The dish will be much more satisfying if you add vegetables: potatoes, cabbage, broccoli, peppers, zucchini, tomatoes and others. Interesting and unusual are drumsticks in mayonnaise with prunes, dried apricots, and apple.

Most often, an oven is used for cooking. But it turns out no less tasty in a frying pan, in a slow cooker, or in the microwave. And the shish kebab on the grill made from drumsticks in mayonnaise is beyond praise.

1. Drumsticks in spiced mayonnaise

Ingredients:

15 chicken drumsticks;

salt, hot pepper and black allspice powder – 15 g each;

thyme, turmeric – 15 g each;

mayonnaise – 80 g;

vegetable oil for greasing the baking sheet;

half a bunch of parsley.

Cooking method:

We wash the drumsticks thoroughly.

Place the prepared legs in a deep, large bowl.

In a clean plate, mix red, black pepper, thyme and turmeric, rub all the drumsticks with this mixture.

Cover the drumsticks with mayonnaise and leave with the lid closed in the refrigerator for half a day.

Place marinated chicken drumsticks on a greased deep baking sheet, place in a hot oven and bake for 45 minutes at moderate temperature.

When serving, place the drumsticks on a serving plate and garnish with dill sprigs.

2. Drumsticks in mayonnaise, baked with vegetables

Ingredients:

4 chicken drumsticks;

5 medium potato tubers;

1 tomato;

1 zucchini;

1 carrot;

1 onion;

salt – 25 g;

vegetable oil – 30 ml;

spices for chicken dishes, spices for vegetables - 20 g each;

half a bouquet of dill.

Cooking method:

Place the drumsticks in a deep bowl, add salt, coat with mayonnaise, and let marinate for 40 minutes.

Place the drumsticks in a greased deep baking tray.

Peel the potatoes, wash them, cut them into small slices, cut the carrots into circles, cut the onion into thin strips, and place the vegetables on top of the drumsticks.

Cut the washed tomato and zucchini into rings and place them on top of the onion and carrots.

Sprinkle the entire contents of the baking sheet with spices and pour in sunflower oil.

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes at a not very high temperature.

Every 20 minutes, open the oven and prick the vegetables with a fork to check their readiness.

Serve on serving plates, 2 pieces per serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley.

3. Shins in mayonnaise, baked with apple

Ingredients:

8 chicken drumsticks;

5 onions;

mayonnaise – 1 glass;

9% vinegar – 30 ml;

seasoning for meat – 20 g;

black allspice powder, salt - a pinch;

1 red apple;

oil for greasing the frying sheet.

Cooking method:

Place the prepared drumsticks in a large bowl.

Cut the peeled onion into strips, knead it a little with your hands and put it in a cup near the shins.

Add mayonnaise, add vinegar, sprinkle with seasonings, stir well, and leave the drumsticks to marinate for half an hour.

Wash the apple, cut out the core along with the seeds, cut into small pieces.

Place the marinated drumsticks on a prepared baking sheet and place apple slices on top.

Place the pickled onion on the apple and lightly pour the marinade over the entire contents of the baking sheet.

Place in the oven for one hour at 190 degrees.

While baking, open the oven door every 20 minutes and pour the marinade over the drumsticks.

Serve the finished drumsticks in mayonnaise marinade on portioned plates, place a side dish of stewed vegetables next to them, and sprinkle with herbs.

4. Drumsticks in mayonnaise and Tabasco sauce

Ingredients:

6 chicken drumsticks;

basil greens - half a bouquet;

Tabasco sauce – 30 ml;

chives - half a bunch;

mayonnaise – 30 g;

sugar – 15 g;

parsley – 5 sprigs;

For Tabasco sauce:

fresh chili pepper – 3 pods;

5 tomatoes;

onion head;

wine vinegar – 30 ml;

garlic – 5 cloves;

sugar, salt - 20 g each;

parsley - 3 stalks.

Cooking method:

First of all, prepare Tabasco sauce: cut the chili pepper into two halves, remove the seeds, cut into fine crumbs or grind in a special mortar. Fill the tomatoes with hot water for a while to make it easier to remove the skin, cut the pulp into small cubes. Wash the greens, chop them finely, grind the garlic in a garlic press. Grind all prepared ingredients in a blender until smooth and thick. Grease a metal container with sunflower oil and pour the prepared pulp into it. Add a little more chopped parsley to this mixture, put it on low heat and cook until the mixture thickens, about 20 minutes. Three minutes before the sauce is completely ready, pour in wine vinegar, add salt and sugar, mix well, boil for another two minutes and remove from heat.

Wash the chives and basil and cut into small cubes.

Mix the prepared sauce with mayonnaise, add a little sugar, salt, add prepared chives and basil.

Place the washed and dried drumsticks into the marinade, mix and leave for half an hour.

Cut the foil into small squares, wrap one marinated drumstick in each, place on a sheet, put in the oven for 40 minutes at moderate temperature.

A few minutes before it’s ready, open the oven, unroll the foil a little and finish baking.

Serve the finished drumsticks on a serving platter, garnished with parsley leaves.

5. Drumsticks in mayonnaise in a frying pan with cheese

Ingredients:

half a kilogram of chicken drumsticks;

garlic – 5 cloves;

seasoning for meat dishes, black pepper, salt - 25 g each;

a small piece of hard cheese;

dill - 4 stalks.

Cooking method:

Wash the drumsticks and rub with salt and black pepper.

Place the drumsticks in hot oil in a frying pan and fry on both sides until crispy.

Peel the garlic, rinse it, put it through a garlic press.

We dilute the garlic pulp with a glass of filtered water and pour this liquid over the drumsticks.

Lubricate the drumsticks with mayonnaise and place them again in a hot frying pan and fry over low heat until fully cooked.

A few minutes before the end of frying, sprinkle with cheese.

Serve on a flat dish, sprinkled with chopped dill.

6. Drumsticks in mayonnaise with lemon juice

Ingredients:

7 chicken legs;

juice of one lemon;

black pepper, salt - a pinch;

oil for frying - half a glass;

half a bunch of fresh parsley and dill.

Cooking method:

Place the drumsticks in a bowl, add some salt and pepper.

Pour lemon juice into the drumsticks, add mayonnaise, mix, and let marinate for 40 minutes in the refrigerator.

Heat the frying pan, pour in sunflower oil, lay out the drumsticks and fry until crusty on one side and the other over low heat.

Serve the fried drumsticks on portioned plates, two pieces per serving, sprinkle with herbs, and place mashed potatoes or any other side dish next to them.

Drumsticks in mayonnaise - secrets and tricks

It’s as easy as shelling pears to ensure that the drumsticks acquire an appetizing crust without remaining raw inside. When baking drumsticks in mayonnaise in the oven, cover them with foil, removing it 10 minutes before the end of cooking. When frying the drumsticks in a frying pan, cover them with a lid, which will also need to be removed at the end.

If you want a cheese crust, sprinkle the cheese shavings over the drumsticks 5 minutes before cooking. Choose high-quality hard or semi-hard cheese that will stretch after melting.

Vegetables added to the drumsticks can be marinated along with the chicken, or they can be sprinkled separately with oil and sprinkled with salt and pepper. Place all the ingredients in the mold together.

Since the dish turns out to be quite high in calories, it is recommended to serve light side dishes with the legs: for example, stewed, steamed, fresh or canned vegetables. Ingredients

  • chicken drumsticks – 1 kg;
  • mayonnaise – 250 g;
  • garlic – 3 cloves;
  • table salt – 1 tsp;
  • ground black pepper – 1 pinch.

Preparation

  1. First, take the required number of chicken drumsticks and rinse them under the tap. Dry with a paper towel or napkins, and then place in a deep bowl. There is no need to remove the skin. With it, the drumsticks will brown better and look appetizing.

  1. Add mayonnaise to the bowl with chicken drumsticks. The amount of this ingredient is not very important. You can use a little more or less.

  1. Add table salt and a little ground black pepper. These ingredients must be added, otherwise the drumsticks will taste too bland.

  1. Now peel a few cloves of garlic and chop them using a press or fine grater. Place in a bowl with the drumsticks.

  1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Leave in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to marinate well.
