When all the parts are ready, you can start assembling the car. The box is turned upside down, and a mounting frame with a wheel is placed on it. It must be installed so that the wheel does not touch the box. Using a pencil, mark the location of the frame on the bottom of the box so that you can install the wooden wedges as accurately as possible. Their thickness must be at least 50 mm, width - 100 mm. Along the marked lines, the wedges are attached to the bottom with bolts, and then the frame with the wheel is attached to them. To make the wheelbarrow convenient to use, spacers must be secured to the side walls of the box. Their length should be such that the box installed on them is parallel to the ground. Thanks to this, the country cart will stand level and stable during loading and unloading operations. To make the racks more rigid, they can be strengthened with a spacer, one end of which is attached to the rack, and the other to the bottom of the box.

The finished country cart should be covered with drying oil. This will protect the wood from damage and extend its service life. If, after many years of use, the cart is “retired”, do not rush to throw it away. It will serve as an excellent decoration for a summer cottage if you use it, for example, as a large flower pot.
