The value is not a value of the reporting object type.
I recently updated a program on one of my work computers. 1C:Enterprise. After starting the program, an error occurred during the update process: “The update failed. An error occurred when updating the program version: The value is not a value of the object type (Code).” Restarting the program did not help - the error window appeared again:

Close the program 1C. Then we launch it again. After launching the error: “ The update failed. The value is not an object type value” must not be repeated.

Often this error (“Value is not a value of the object type (Foreign Organization)”) appears in the document “Invoice issued” when trying to print it. In this case, the reason is that although the “Invoice basis document” field is specified in the document, the program thinks that it is empty.
There are two options for solving this problem:
- Perhaps the simplest one is to delete this document from the database and enter it again. Just enter not by copying a ready-made document, but enter the document from a blank sheet.
- The second option is for more advanced users: through the menu "Service" - "Group processing of reference books and documents" change the attribute "Document-basis for issuing an invoice" to the one that is already selected in the document.
When entering information, the elements automatically change the category of input, certain conveniences are created, which in some cases can become a serious obstacle for the program.
What does the 1C value error in cells indicate?
The alert “Value 1C does not belong to an object type” indicates the presence in the table cells processed by the software module of the incorrect data type originally provided. If the templates are filled out by hand, any character except the separating dot can make a string instead of a 1C digital value, and an extra dot can convert the information into the “date” position.
In the future, the use of such a document becomes incorrect, since in the process of making entries, the table is replenished with incorrect characteristics. When forming a selection and setting a filter “by date”, the form does not display the date, but a line indicating the discrepancy present.
You can set up the display of the value in 1C by canceling the documentation until the required file is generated correctly. In this case, the form with the error must be deleted and entered manually. If the cause of an inaccuracy with the 1C value is the activity of the programmer, the defect will have to be corrected in the configurator.
