For diligence and art there is nothing impossible.

Content

Roasted coffee beans are considered one of the fine materials for decoration. In addition to them, you only need glue, with which you can simply decorate any thing - a watch, a saucer, a frame, a vase or a box. Below are options for crafts based on coffee beans and several master classes.

DIY coffee tree

A decorative tree or topiary often began to decorate both residential and office premises. Its crown is often made from coffee beans. In nature, such a tree looks like a rounded bush with dark green leaves. Then white flowers appear on it, which serve as the basis for future fruits and raw materials for crafts. To make a tree from coffee beans with your own hands, the following materials are required:

  • Styrofoam;
  • PVA glue;
  • stick for the trunk;
  • gypsum;
  • ribbon;
  • coffee beans;
  • flower pot;
  • brown threads.

Do-it-yourself coffee topiary is made according to such simple instructions:

  1. From the foam, form a ball, which is wrapped with threads. Secure the ends with glue.
  2. Determine the place where you will insert the barrel stick. Slightly spread the threads there.
  3. Using PVA glue, glue coffee beans in small sections onto a ball wrapped with threads. Leave the space for the stem blank.
  4. When the first layer of the crown is ready, start gluing the next one using superglue already. At the same time, lay the grains with the convex part down.
  5. Leave the ball sealed with grains to dry.
  6. In a predetermined place for the barrel, insert one end of the stick, smeared with glue.
  7. Pour the gypsum solution into the flower pot. You can add some coffee grounds if the container is clear.
  8. Insert the trunk of the tree into the plaster mixture and place the entire structure near the wall to lean on it.
  9. When the plaster dries, decorate it on top with nuts, such as hazelnuts.
  10. Wrap the trunk of the tree with ribbon.

Pictures from coffee beans

Paintings are another element of interior decoration. Such crafts from coffee beans with your own hands are also easy to make. They refresh the room and give it a touch of elegance. The principle of creation is to stick the grains on some kind of base. As a picture, you can choose any you like. The main thing is that you can deal with it. It can be an owl, a heart, a boat, cats, trees, or a cup of coffee. To create any painting, the following materials and tools are required:

  • a piece of thick cardboard;
  • glue gun;
  • glue stick;
  • coffee beans;
  • linen or cotton fabric;

Any do-it-yourself paintings from coffee beans are made in several stages:

  1. Cut out a square of the desired size from cardboard.
  2. Considering the dimensions of the cut out cardboard and small allowances of 1.5-2 cm, cut off a piece of fabric.
  3. Spread the cardboard with a glue stick, glue the fabric to it. Fasten the edges to the back.
  4. On a dried base, draw a sketch of the drawing with a simple pencil.
  5. Glue the grains to the craft first along the edges of the pattern, and then fill in the middle. Apply them to the base with a convex part.
  6. To frame the picture around its perimeter, also glue coffee beans.

Wax crafts made from coffee beans

Due to their unusual shade, pleasant aroma and soft oval shape, coffee beans are used to create a variety of cute accessories. A more popular area of their application is ordinary candles, which, with this design, take on an unusual look. For the manufacture will require only a few materials:

  • coffee beans;
  • decor elements at your discretion;
  • wick;
  • form;
  • paraffin candles.

After preparing the necessary materials, proceed to the instructions for making crafts from coffee beans with your own hands:

  1. Grate the candles, then melt in a water bath.
  2. Enter the coffee beans into the melted paraffin.
  3. Fasten the wick in the center of the pencil with one end.
  4. Put the pencil on the form prepared in advance, and lower the free end of the wick down.
  5. Pour "coffee" paraffin into the mold.
  6. Melt the remaining candles, send this paraffin to the dried first layer.
  7. When the mixture hardens, remove the candle from the mold and decorate as you like, for example, with a ribbon.

Souvenir crafts from coffee

The first thing you can decorate with coffee beans is a regular photo frame. Grains are simply glued onto the workpiece. This craft is especially suitable for interiors decorated in vintage style. To give a special aroma to the room, not only candles from coffee beans are used, but also candlesticks. You just need to fill them in any form. Then a candle is fixed in it. In addition to grains, twine is often used. Entire models are made from these two materials, for example, windmills or small huts.

The most original gift can be a cup of spilled coffee. To do this, a frame is made of thick wire in the form of flowing water. Then all this is wrapped with masking tape and glued with grains, and a mug is fixed on top. It turns out a very original composition - the cup seems to be floating in the air. Another option for DIY coffee bean crafts is a magnet. It is made on the basis of cardboard, so any shape can be given - a heart, a Christmas tree, a horseshoe or some kind of animal.

Photo: coffee pictures

Pictures from coffee in the kitchen will be especially appropriate, because this drink has established itself as invigorating and tonic. With the help of such elements, not only an empty place is closed, but the interior itself becomes cozy and complete. Coffee paintings fit well into the interior, where brown colors and their shades predominate. To create such a craft, you need a few materials and inspiration. The latter you can learn from the photos with examples of pictures that can be created.

If you like to surprise and delight your friends with non-standard gifts, this type of craft is like a coffee topiary, you will definitely like it. After all, all that is required to create it is simple fixtures and materials, accuracy and patience. Well, a drop of inspiration, of course!

What is a topiary, or how far does a coffee bean tree go?

Topiary is a man-made ornamental tree. Now it is made from various natural materials and improvised means. This art originated in ancient Rome. The first topiaries were skillfully pruned trees in the gardens of the Roman patricians. Gardeners gave bizarre shapes to the crowns of plants, thereby creating a semblance of statues and other decorative items.

Topiary went through many changes in its development: the modest and painstaking work of nuns in medieval monasteries, decorative Renaissance trees created on a grand scale, gardens and labyrinths of Holland and England of the 17th century, etc.

Today, the topiary is an incredibly popular souvenir. The tree of coffee beans, in addition to visual pleasure, brings olfactory pleasure. After all, even after processing, the grains continue to smell, filling the room with a wonderful aroma and creating a cozy atmosphere.

Materials and tools

The main material in the manufacture of coffee trees is, of course, coffee beans. You will also need:

  • ball or heart for the base;
  • paints, glue, paper, tapes;
  • container in which the tree will "grow";
  • wire;
  • gypsum, putty or other container fillers, etc.

The exact list is compiled when choosing a product option and will be presented by us below, in a step-by-step instruction.

By becoming familiar with existing techniques, you can create your own recipe using the items you have on hand.

Gift with meaning

Before you make a coffee tree, think about what meaning you want to put into this gift. Topiaries are a symbol of prosperity and inextinguishable vitality (like a tree, in principle), happiness and prosperity. By adding some elements, you can correct the message enclosed in the craft.

Idea! So, if the topiary is intended for newlyweds, there can be two crowns (or small baby trees will be located next to two large ones).

It is customary to give gifts in the shape of a heart to a loved one. When creating a souvenir for a woman, you can add a lot of small jewelry, ribbons and lace. The topiary addressed to a man should presumably have a strong base, as if emphasizing the reliability of the stronger sex. Based on your knowledge of a person, you can create a unique, special gift.

A coffee tree is a cute gift for Valentine's Day, International Women's Day, or just a romantic gift for a loved one.

Today, people buy in specialized stores a variety of decor elements that can decorate the interior of their apartment. One of these products is the topiary. This small craft, made in the form of a tree, can consist of a variety of components. In particular, there are models on the market made from poppy seeds, sunflower seeds, all kinds of ribbons, moss and flowers.

There is a variety in the form of similar products; they are made in the form of a simple tree, in the form of hearts, in the form of various geometric shapes, etc. In addition, you can purchase models with an unusual design or picture (for example, with lightning and coins, in the form of a globe, etc.).

Know! Naturally, the price of such jewelry depends on the complexity of the work (the most sophisticated options, as a rule, are not cheap).

However, you can get a beautiful element of decor with minimal financial costs. You just need to make the decoration yourself. So, in this article we will learn how to make a coffee topiary with our own hands. We will focus on both simple and complex models.

The easiest coffee topiary

To make a standard coffee bean topiary, you will need to get:

  • high-quality coffee beans (the correctness of the shape and the duration of the aroma depend on their price);
  • a ball with an 8-centimeter diameter (you can make such a blank yourself, but it’s better to buy it in the store anyway);
  • plastic tube (it is recommended that its length be approximately 25 cm and diameter 1.2 cm); in the absence of a plastic tube, you can get by with a wooden analogue of the same size;
  • glue gun;
  • satin and nylon ribbon;
  • alabaster;
  • well-sharpened scissors;
  • double-sided tape;
  • dishes in which alabaster will be kneaded.

Now let's move on to the main point: how to make this decoration. The sequence of actions looks like this:

  • make a hole in the ball (make sure that the diameter of the hole fits the tube that will play the role of the leg);
  • glue the ball with the first layer of coffee beans so that the stripes of grains look down;
  • when the glue dries, apply the 2nd layer of grains, but now they should look outward; you can also get by with just one layer, although for this you will have to paint the ball in a color that matches the coffee shade;
  • wrap the plastic tube with double-sided tape; you need to wind slightly obliquely; leave unaffected 3 cm from the edges of the tube;
  • wrap a satin ribbon over the adhesive tape;
  • after that, take the pot; pour water into the pot, in which the finished coffee topiary will stand in the future; the water level should be 3 cm below the edges;
  • pour the water into another container and start adding alabaster a little bit at a time; adding alabaster, stir the solution; in the end, you should get a creamy substance (by viscosity);
  • when the mixture is ready, pour it into a pot for crafts;
  • insert the "trunk" of the tree into the mixture;
  • when the alabaster mixture has completely hardened, put two layers of coffee beans on it; it is necessary to follow the same principle as in the case of the crown: first, the grains are laid out with a strip down, then with a strip up;
  • apply glue to the top of the “trunk” and put the “crown” on it; briefly support the crown until the glue completely hardens;
  • then decorate the trunk at the base of the crown with some kind of ribbon (ideally, satin and organza ribbons are suitable);
  • if desired, you can glue an additional decorative component to the crown (for example, a fabric flower).

That's all, the decoration is ready. If it is difficult for you to understand how this coffee topiary is made, the photos below will help you understand this issue in detail.

specific topiary

Do you want to make a unique coffee bean topiary with your own hands? Then the next option is perfect for you. Its highlight lies in the fact that the finished product will consist of several crowns connected by a curved trunk. To make such a miracle, you will need to acquire:

  • 6 foam balls;
  • dark threads for knitting;
  • double aluminum wiring;
  • coffee beans;
  • alabaster;
  • strong twine;
  • a small flower pot;
  • glue;
  • masking tape.

The step-by-step instructions for making this product look like this:

  • wrap the balls with prepared threads and fix their ends with glue;
  • glue the balls with coffee beans so that their stripes look down; be sure to leave a little untouched space (the “branches” of the tree will then be attached to it);
  • divide the prepared wire into 3 pieces (one long and two small);
  • divide one end of the long wire in two, then twist the wire so that the resulting structure stands without problems;
  • bend a long wire (simulating a barrel) in two places;
  • attach two smaller pieces to the bend points using masking tape;
  • then you need to divide all the ends of the wires in two and strip each branch (about 2-3 itself from the edge);
  • bend the smaller wires (this is how you get the branches of the future tree);
  • wrap the trunk and branches with masking tape, leaving the stripped sections of the wire intact; so the whole structure will acquire the optimal thickness;
  • apply glue to the wrapped areas and tie them with twine;
  • grease the ends of the branches with glue and put balls on them;
  • put the tree in a pot and fill it with gypsum;
  • after the gypsum dries, decorate the “soil” with coffee beans (so the whole composition will take on a truly beautiful look);
  • stick a second layer of grains on the “crowns” (they will become more beautiful; in addition, the second layer will close possible gaps).

After that, the craft will be ready. If you don’t understand how to make such a coffee topiary, the photo below will allow you to study the basic steps in more detail.

Heart models

If you want to give a special topiary to a loved one, a heart-shaped coffee tree is the most suitable option for you. This wonderful mini-gift can be presented to your soulmate on Valentine's Day; in addition, it can be presented to newlyweds for a wedding (the bride and groom will definitely be delighted at the sight of such a surprise). In a word, this topiary model will certainly appeal to everyone to whom it will be presented. To make such a wonderful souvenir, you need to prepare:

  • brown satin ribbon
  • strong twine;
  • coffee beans;
  • wire;
  • glue;
  • saucer and cup (preferably new);
  • anise stars;
  • a blank of the heart itself (it is cut out without problems from a piece of foam or cardboard);
  • dense brown threads (under the shade of grains);
  • brown paint;
  • gypsum.

So that you understand exactly how to make this coffee topiary with your own hands, the master class below will clearly outline each step. So:

  • glue the heart blank with paper, then wrap it with brown thread, forming a loop at the top;
  • paint the heart with paint and wait until it dries;
  • glue the side parts of the heart with grains in strips down; then glue the middle of the heart;
  • after the first layer has dried, apply a second layer of grains, but now with stripes up;
  • when the second layer sets well, glue an anise star in the corner of the heart;
  • twist the prepared wire into a spiral near the base (this will make the whole craft more stable);
  • apply glue to the surface of the wire and wind the twine around it;
  • after that, wrap a satin ribbon in a spiral over the twine;
  • dilute the plaster with water;
  • place the basis of the future creation in a cup and fill the dishes with plaster;
  • wait until the plaster hardens;
  • at the very end, decorate the plaster surface with coffee beans (also in two layers).

That's all. A wedding gift for the newlyweds or a present for the second half is ready. If it’s still difficult for you to figure out how to make such topiary from coffee beans, the photos presented just above will help you better understand the whole process.

Making a floating cup

A craft made in the form of a floating cup (it is also called a spilling cup) is a real pinnacle of handicraft. It may seem that creating such a wonderful illusion is extremely difficult, but this is not entirely true. Of course, this process cannot be called the easiest, but by following all the rules and keeping attentiveness, you will definitely achieve the desired result. So, to make such a do-it-yourself coffee topiary, you will need to acquire:

  1. coffee beans;
  2. a small saucer and a cup (it is best to buy new ones);
  3. construction foam;
  4. copper wiring (in the absence of such, you can get by with a thick wire);
  5. superglue;
  6. brown acrylic paint
  7. 3 anise flowers.

For a better understanding of the manufacturing process, consider it step by step:

  • take the prepared wire and cut 20 cm from it;
  • measure from one end of the cut piece 7 cm and wrap the wire in a circle;
  • measure 4 cm from the other end and bend the wire at the desired point;
  • carefully check the surface of the saucer (it must be completely fat-free); in order to protect yourself from problems with further steps, it is recommended to use new dishes at all;
  • glue the wire with the wrapped part to the surface of the saucer; give this initial design 4 hours to dry;
  • after that, glue the cup to the other end of the wiring (the cup must also be completely clean); so that the glue has time to grab properly, substitute some kind of support (for example, a plastic box) under the cup;
  • wait 8 hours (this is how much time it is recommended to give the structures to dry);
  • after that, bending the wires, adjust the angle of inclination of the future jet;
  • take the prepared balloon with polyurethane foam; start applying foam along the wiring (direction - from the cup to the saucer); when carrying out this step, it must be borne in mind that after exiting the cylinder, the foam will gradually increase in volume; therefore, it is recommended not to apply it in large quantities so that the whole structure does not fall apart;
  • let the whole structure harden properly (in this case it is recommended to wait 24 hours);
  • when the foam dries, take a clerical knife and cut off its excess; at this step you will form the outlines of the future "jet";
  • cover the foam with paint of the previously indicated color;
  • using superglue, fix the coffee beans on the foam;
  • To give the craft a truly sophisticated look, decorate the surface of the saucer with anise flowers.

A tree made from coffee beans is called a topiary. For its manufacture, only ecological materials are used: coffee beans, spices, colored pasta, dried citrus slices. Topiary can be an unusual gift for the holiday, decorating the interior of any room. How to make a coffee tree with your own hands to get a neat original craft?

What is a topiary

A decorative tree is made by hand from simple and environmentally friendly materials. The art of decorating trees originates in ancient Rome, only there they gave an unusual shape to living trees. Gardeners in Rome worked like real sculptors, creating green statues from leaves.

Nuns in the Middle Ages painstakingly worked on decorative trees, and in the Renaissance, art acquired a monumental scope. In the works of Dutch and English artists of the 16th and 17th centuries, one can notice unusual forms of tree crowns.

In modern times, a coffee tree is a unique souvenir that not only brings visual pleasure, but also pleases with a unique coffee aroma. Even after additional processing, coffee beans retain a charming smell.

The hidden meaning of the topiary gift

Quite often, a do-it-yourself money tree made from coffee is intended as a present. A gift in the form of a tree made from coffee beans symbolizes abundance, vitality and strength. A coffee tree will become a talisman that attracts good luck, happiness, prosperity. Therefore, making it with your own hands, you need to do it with a good message and good thoughts. With the help of handmade decor, you can modify your message to the person to whom the present is intended.

A souvenir "coffee tree", intended as a wedding present, can be made in the form of a tree with two trunks, and a small coffee tree can be added below as a symbol of future replenishment in the family.

For a beloved woman, a tree may look like a heart-shaped with ribbons and lace, and a man will appreciate a gift in the form of a tree with a strong trunk, as a symbol of a protector and reliable support for the other half.

On a note! A do-it-yourself present is usually made based on the habits, lifestyle, character of the person to whom it will be presented.

What interior will fit a coffee tree

It is a mistake to believe that coffee bean topiary is suitable only for rooms decorated in eco-style. In fact, it fits perfectly into any style: classic, modern, hi-tech, loft.

Stylists advise combining the main color of the room with the decor of the craft. For example, if caramel or mint colors are present in the interior, add decorations of these shades to the tree.

In addition, a topiary tree made from coffee beans can become a decoration for a gazebo on the street, an attic, a porch in a country house.

What materials will be needed to make a topiary

To make a tree from coffee beans with your own hands, you will need the following tools:

  • Coffee beans. It is better to choose a quality product of uniform roasting. Cheap grains of varying degrees of roasting will look sloppy in crafts;
  • Glue gun (you can use regular glue, but using a gun is much more convenient);
  • A ball as a base (instead of a ball, you can make a heart or use any other shape). Most often, the base is made of foam, glue, thick cardboard;
  • Stick for the barrel (gypsum, natural wood, plastic);
  • Alabaster/gypsum. You will need a special container in which the solution will be mixed;
  • A flower pot, which is sold in any gardening store or in specialized departments of supermarkets;
  • Napkins;
  • Double sided tape;
  • Brown paint, brush;
  • decorative materials.

Ribbons, flowers, beads, bows, beads, cinnamon sticks, even coins and paper bills can be used as decoration.

Classic coffee bean tree

The most suitable option for lovers of minimalism. The classic topiary is made without bright decor, in neutral colors. Such a hand-made craft does not look boring at all, but very stylish.

Having learned how to make a classic topiary, you can later master other options for coffee trees.

How to make a coffee tree with your own hands

At first it may seem that a person who is far from art and creativity will not be able to create a topiary. In fact, making a tree is quite simple, you just need to follow the advice and follow the recommendations of professionals. Having made a topiary once, you will definitely want to make the craft more difficult!

Step-by-step instruction:

Step #1. Paint the base ball with brown paint and leave to dry completely. Together with the ball, immediately paint the trunk and flower pot.

Step #2. Sort the coffee beans while the colored parts of the topiary dry. Smooth, shiny grains will subsequently be glued to the ball in the form of a tree crown. Round grains can decorate the pot, while small grains are used to fill the space between the main grains. Not very beautiful whole grains will be needed for the bottom of the ball.

Step #3. After the parts are completely dry, cut a hole in the ball into which the tree trunk will be inserted. To do this carefully, attach the barrel to the place where it should be attached. Circle with a pencil and cut a hole 2-3 centimeters deep.

Step number 4. Now you need to make a “foliage” tree with your own hands. The following techniques are used:

Technique number 1. Painstaking work, which is piece by piece gluing the grains to the ball. Grains can be glued flat, edgewise, dark and light shades can be alternated, and gaps can be filled with smaller beans. Smooth, even, shiny grains are glued on top, and all the rest are used below.

Technique number 2. Suitable for those who lack perseverance. The transparent mounting adhesive is spread in a thin layer on a small area of the base (approximately 6x6 cm). Next, a handful of coffee beans is poured onto the glue and gently leveled. It is better to put an empty container under the craft so that the coffee beans that will fall fall into the container.

Why is it undesirable to use hot glue? Mounting transparent glue makes it possible to carefully level the grains on the surface of the craft with your hands, without fear of getting burned. In addition, it dries longer, so you can slowly correct the shortcomings.

On a note! A do-it-yourself topiary using technique No. 2 will be pasted over with grains in a chaotic manner, and in the first case, the base will be laid out in a certain sequence. Regardless of which technique is chosen, the place where the trunk is attached is left unsealed.

Step number 5. Often the painted trunk is decorated with ribbon, brown thread, twine. To do this, wrap the trunk with double-sided tape, leaving 3 cm unsealed at the top and bottom. You can use hot glue instead of tape. From above, carefully wrap the trunk with a thin twine rope or satin ribbon. Insert the finished barrel into the hole on the base, fix with hot glue. You can attach the barrel with a strong wire. It remains to glue the grains in the place where the barrel is attached to the ball.

Step number 6. The tree is almost ready, now it needs to be "planted" in a flower pot. Choose a pot that does not have drainage holes. Immediately pour the diluted cement or alabaster into the pot so that it does not reach the edges by about 3 cm. Place the barrel with the ball in the center and hold for a couple of minutes until the solution thickens. Next, the do-it-yourself topiary is left for a day so that the alabaster or gypsum is completely frozen.

Step number 7. Topiary decoration. In the classic version, the topiary is decorated with a satin bow in pastel shades. Alabaster is masked by coffee beans, decorative moss, natural small pebbles.

flower coffee tree

the “coffee tree” craft with blooming flower buds looks very feminine. Such a gift is suitable for beloved women on March 8, teacher's day or other professional women's holiday. Flower trees look beautiful in the interior of the living room and bedroom.

Flowers can be made from various materials:

  • Tree;
  • Textile;
  • Ribbons;
  • beads;
  • Multi-colored clay;
  • Paper.

You can buy ready-made flowers in a store that sells materials for creativity. If you want to try to create artificial flowers with your own hands, use the master classes from the Internet. The main thing is that the flowers turn out to be neat, look natural and look harmonious with coffee beans.

On a note! The base of the flower is attached to the ball with a glue gun or mounted on a thin wire.

DIY fruit craft

A tree decorated with small decorative fruits or dry citrus slices will look great in the interior of the kitchen or in the dining room. Fruity decor is ideally combined with cinnamon sticks, vanilla pods, star anise or star anise. Adding fruits and spices will be a piece of coarse canvas and twine. Get a fruit tree in eco-style.

christmas tree

A festive tree made of coffee beans will decorate the New Year's table, and can also be an unusual present for loved ones, relatives and friends. For the base, use a ready-made cone or a do-it-yourself cone made from thick paper folded into several layers. A New Year tree is made according to the standard scheme, but you can decorate a decorative coffee tree with this decor:

  • Beads;
  • Small Christmas balls and other toys;
  • small beads;
  • Decorative napkins;
  • Satin bows;
  • Figures cut out of shiny multi-colored paper;
  • Little accessories.

In the next video, watch a master class on how to make a coffee tree with your own hands. All small parts are glued with pva glue.

coffee valentine

Lovers often give each other heart-shaped objects on February 14th. Standard plush valentines and boxes of sweets in the shape of hearts are banal gifts, but the do-it-yourself craft made of coffee beans “tree-heart” will surprise and touch your soulmate. The basis is not a ball, but a heart, which you can either do with your own hands or use a ready-made template. The decoration of the "heart" tree will depend on your imagination: lace, ribbons, beads are suitable for girls, and a more concise style for young people. You can make a coffee tree from beads and beans.

Money Tree

According to Feng Shui, the house must have a money tree, which is considered a symbol of wealth and endless profit. A handmade money tree made of coffee and coins will be a wonderful gift for a married couple or a man. It is made identical to the classic topiary, but first coins or paper bills are glued to the base, and coffee beans are already around. You can allocate money with an open zipper by gluing two halves on both sides. Coins are glued not only to the base, but also to the pot, not forgetting to scatter coins on the “ground” in which the trunk stands. It remains to tie a tree with a satin red ribbon. By the way, red symbolizes profit, wealth, financial stability.

It is quite possible to make a coffee topiary with your own hands. Ready-made options are sold at a high price, in addition, a piece of the soul is invested in a tree made by oneself, and this is expensive.

Topiary is a wonderful decorative fantasy tree of happiness that can be made from different materials. It will perfectly decorate any interior. For coffee lovers, I suggest making fragrant coffee topiary.

To create a simple coffee topiary, we need:

- coffee beans (Arabica variety);
- glue gun;
- ball - base;
- stick - trunk;
- Alabaster - a mixture for plastering;
- water;
- PVA glue, brush;
- paints, brush;
- paper napkins;
- a flower pot;
- pink and beige satin ribbons;
- beads for decoration.

Preparing the base - the ball

For the crown of the topiary, I picked up a simple rubber children's ball. He has been in my mind for a long time, children grow up and toys become unnecessary. This is where the ball comes in handy. I managed to connect the base and the stick for the barrel together without the help of glue. It fits the size of the ball hole perfectly.

Other bases can also be used, such as a store-bought styrofoam ball or a plastic paddling pool ball. Or you can make it yourself, from old newspapers.

Foundation preparation

It is quite difficult to connect coffee beans with a rubber base, so we glue our ball with ordinary napkins and PVA glue using the papier-mâché method. Instead of napkins, you can use a regular newspaper. In this case, we will take paper white napkins.

We tear the napkins into small pieces and glue the ball with them. Let it dry for about an hour and a half.

We paint over the resulting design with brown paint, the color of coffee beans. This is necessary so that the gaps between the grains are not so visible. You can choose any paint, but it is better to take acrylic.

Gluing coffee beans

Now we proceed to the most difficult and painstaking part of the work: gluing coffee beans. You will need to glue the base in two layers. Therefore, we divide all available grains into two parts: small, uneven grains will go to the lower layer. The most beautiful, strong and flat, regular-shaped grains will be left for the final layer.

Glue the grains with a glue gun. Press them tightly together, try to leave as little space as possible between them. Lay the second layer of grains as carefully as possible, try not to take too much glue so that there are no glare.

Lay the first layer of coffee beans with the convex side up, and the second one down. The main part of the work is done.

We decorate the trunk of the topiary

Carefully wrap the topiary stick with a beige satin ribbon. In order for the tape to hold firmly, it can be fixed with drops of glue around the edges.

Pot decor:

To decorate the pot, take a pink satin ribbon, glue it around the middle around the perimeter. Add a ribbon rose to it. It is done very simply - by folding the tape.

Topiary installation

In a separate bowl, we dilute the solution mixture (Alabaster remained at my house after the repair) to the consistency of thin sour cream. We install the tree in a pot, and fill it with a solution.

The solution will not set immediately, so you will have to hold the topiary for several minutes. Let the product dry.

Final decoration of the finished product

After the solution dries, we coat the top with a layer of PVA, put coffee beans on it.

Decorate the topiary as you like, there are no restrictions. I glued the coffee beans on the pot, tied a satin bow on the trunk of the tree.

So our amazing tree of happiness is ready. You should not dream about happiness, take it and create it with your own hands. Such a tree will fill your home with an amazing aroma of coffee, make it more comfortable, and become an interesting addition to the decor.

Try it! Creative success to all!
