Many have watched the animated series "Avatar", in which the cruel ruler of the elements of Fire wants to enslave the peace-loving nations that worship Water, Air and Earth. And since the cartoon world is divided between four nations, then each land has its own leader, called the Magician. Each magician has his own characteristics, bestowed upon him by his native element. And only the strongest of the Lords of the world, who is able to control all four elements, can rule the world.
The Avatar game provides players with the opportunity to immerse themselves in this beautiful and dangerous world, and not just contemplate it on the TV screen while watching their favorite cartoon. As the name suggests, you will have to endure many battles between fortresses. At the same time, you need to overthrow the enemy’s fortifications and keep your castle intact. This will help you with special spells that are different for each of the elements, as well as various projectiles for the catapult, which also differ for each nation.
By the way, there are only three peoples in the game: Water, Fire and Earth. Apparently the people of the Air element have either already lost the battle for dominance over the world, or have not yet entered into it. But this doesn’t make the Avatar game any less interesting.
The Avatar game can be played either with a computer or alone with your friend. In any case, you will have to work hard to survive in this fierce battle, but playing with a friend is still more interesting, because... Over time, the computer's tactics become clear and predictable.
The only weapon you have is a catapult, which throws multi-ton projectiles towards the enemy fortress. Completely different magical items that are available in your arsenal can be used as projectiles. As already mentioned, they are different for each element. For example, the master of the element of Water has Ice arrows and water balls in stock, and the Mage of the element of Earth has a huge spear and a greenish gem that crumbles into many fragments. However, all shells with a magical component cost money and may run out in battle. In this case, you just have to use stone boulders, which are absolutely free, but have much less penetrating power.
The lock security system is also well thought out. Each element has several spells that can protect your buildings from the wrath of the enemy. Use these spells wisely, because... protection helps a lot in battle, but the number of spells is not infinite and by the end of the battle you may be left without much-needed magical support. There are also two buildings in front of the castle (Arsenal and Defense Tower) that can further protect your castle.
Combat in the game occurs as follows. Opposite each other there are two hostile fortresses, near each of which there is a giant catapult. At the start of your turn, you are asked to choose a protection spell. Try not to use it if the defense has not yet fallen off after the last move, because... this spell may come in handy in the future. After that, choose a projectile for the catapult, decide what angle of inclination is needed for its flight and what is the throwing force needed (the level of force can be seen by the red stripe inside the arrow indicating the direction). All this is done using the mouse. That's it - the job is done, now look how accurate your shot was and how the walls of the enemy citadel are crumbling.
Don’t forget to also shoot down all sorts of glowing things in the sky. If you manage to catch one of these round balls with a projectile, then you will either receive additional points, or you will be given money to buy equipment, or something else useful will fall out.
When playing with a computer, after each victory you will be asked to replenish your arsenal of shells, as well as repair both the castle and defensive structures. Remember that at the next level you will fight with the weapons that are shown on the arsenal replenishment page and with buildings in the same condition in which you see them here. Those. If your castle is practically destroyed, then you will most likely play at the next level until 2-3 moves from the enemy. Therefore, do not forget to repair the lock first.
